[cir] [tpk] Take-off

Post by McBidouille »

Hey ho people,

Nice to share with you all this new track.
I think that I will improve it in the near futur, so your feedbacks are really welcome to help me getting it better.
Moreover, I will make it soon [tpk] with the other unused layouts that you could see in it.
And I did a screenshot of the Hmap to make it easier for you to understand how it works.

Hope to bring you some fun!
:bg:
..............

so here is the final update of the track, associated with two others layouts in it.

Bug in a .rar pack. There is Take off name without .trk :( Please fix it ;)

---------------------------

And now overall view for the track ;)

Looks really great, Hmap is awesome, Lmap too. Dithering on grass and tarmac is really great ;) Full of different objects, nice placement of wall, nice kerbs, ai-line is made very well, bud there is a bug in chechpoints :vsad: if you go there, you will miss chechpoint #3 and #4 and you will lose one lap. If you put only one chechpoint there, and the chechpoint will go throught the pit lane, because there isn't any way, how to shortcut in that turns ;)

I must put 1/2 star down, cause the pit bug

It looks very nice but some object placement seems illogical. The large bridge in bottom left leads nowhere and is a bit of an eyesore. Amd the walls are dangerous for instance around turn 9 where the added armco pushes the end of the wall right next to the track, the wall should point away from the track.

Also the track doesn't need the short layouts imo, one would have been fine.

So,so,so sorry for the .rar mistake  ...I forget to add the extension while rewriting its name...fixed now thanks Fruki'.
Thanks too for these great feedbacks that would really help for improving that work.
I really have no skills to finish my tracks as I never find the good objects and the good way to place it on the track.
Concerning the incoming trackpack, I think that it would be very nice to use the other layout possibilities so I get it in my small brain!

I really like this track. L-map, H-map, the layout and view-angle, their taste are my liking.

But, my opinion for about H-map. Because the 10th-turn was the rapid uphill slope, I jumped and slide off the track. That was made by SnakeDitor?? I think, the values of the inside should be more lower like a oval track's bank.

Anyway, the great tornado turns. :cool2:

Thanks for your feedbacks MASA.
Nice to know that you like it.
Concerning the 10th turn, I agree that it is quite difficult to negociate it, but this was my objective to make some curves more hard to negociate. I think that it bring it all its interest. :bsmile:

The track is unraceable with 4:3 screen ratio. Hope it's not the same with Spidek. :(

That's right TuomoH I tried it with 4:3 ratio. I don't really know how to modify it for now but I will update it soon.
Sorry for that, I'm on a 16:9 screen.
If you know how to quickly change it, tell me please as Spidek has the same problem.

Use the windowed mode with 4:3 and test the zoom values. ;) You have zoom out more than on 16:9 with lower view angles.
