Keep in mind that I only release 2 out of my 5 entries, and I halt my releases for a while because I thought this thread is inactive / giving way for other tracks. Without any other blahs, here go my third release AND fourth release...

:cflag: GRUNDEBAHN :cflag: - This one's inspired by Nurburgring Nordschleife, even though it's actually an oval...

:cflag: SNOGA :cflag: - A racetrack with snow background. I don't know if I am successfully able to pull off the style used in my Frappe Snowland track, but I thought I did pretty well there...

Because a few trackmakers made a 2nd track, I made a 2nd track, too.

Esleasoo is small and narrow micro-track in the desert. Maybe too narrow, so a real challenge for Hotlap/Time Trial. :) ;)

I just had to give this a shot but seems I forgot about the TE only rule. Anyway, I still want to share it with you, my 5 minute track. :cool2:

Man, that's little time. :D I had opened an empty hmap screen in GIMP to save some time - I figured that was ok since with TE you also have the empty track there from the beginning. Then the time started and there was so much to do. Seemed really hectic and then there were slight black-outs somewhere. :D I kept checking the watch and quite close to the end time there were still things like starting positions and AI line to do. :meditate: I didn't have time to test the track so the AI isn't up to my usual standard.

Here is what turned out to be a 6 min track because I screwed my hmap while smoothing and it was unrideable.
It's good to be back.

SNOWLAND

My 3th 5min track. A gravel track on Snow. There are 2 versions. One with a regular start, one with a Rally-/Autocross start.

EasterEgg:
If you look closely, you can see on the layout the letters ''JB''. You can guess 3 times, why this layout is made.
PS: When is the voting :shhh:

Are you aware of an ambiguity behind the initials? :shhh:

Sorry for contributing to the bumping, I didn't realise this thread was a year old, got tricked by the post before mine
Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!

Its usually not a problem to bump this type of thread, where content can be continually added.

Indeed, it's the "something important to say", worthy of posting regardless if it's 2 weeks or 2 years after previous reply. :)

BTW Martyn nice to see you back.

This topic has something epic, there is always someone who accept this challenge. My opinion is that a 5 min track is a simple thing which everybody can do, but from another point of view this challenge is not that easy as it could seems; only the best trackmakers know what a track need to be good even if it is forcedly simple.

Snorxal your track is not that far from the best ones, like the various nature objects, the road is only too wide (but what! I'm commenting about a track of 5 min, better to stop myself! ). Anyway I see from your old track Namav that you are surely able to make good looking tracks, so welcome back!

Mzsostus nice attempt, like the width of the road and the layout but the track seems "trembling", also objects are quite uniform, 5/6 years are very a lot of time :greybeard: (I'm commenting again, ok now I truly stop myself :taped: ).

I don't know if my track fulfills the contest requirements* but I think it deserves to be posted, for it is still a simple, purely generally-ish track, which "effective" making time surely didn't exceed 10 minutes, which is still something for a trackmaking newbie after all (the only time I ever made a GR track was in 2009).

*I made same faciliations as BBA, moreover I let myself freeze time while I was searching for objects. Otherwise, I'd spend all the time browsing the object list; I'm really unfamiliar with TE  And the AI line in the last corner was really tricky.
