Gravel, tarmac, snow. Whatever the surface, you'll find it here.

[oth] Liquo Rico

Post by TuomoH »

After seeing XYY's deRUkt89.-Z+ and BRIX' erroroom felt like making something unconventional as well. :cool2: Didn't want to follow their footsteps but instead approached the subject from a more geometric viewpoint. And yes, Kandinsxyy was somewhat of an inspiration alongside my ancient Flaming Paw. :D

The track itself is an experimental fantasy street circuit with some hmap changes in form of elevated "candy" and two banked curves. The AI line has been designed for Formula.

As usual, have fun and feel free to comment. :)

Less chaotic then XYY's or BRIX's track, but more geometic and brilliant!

It hurt my head when I was driving it but much smoother than other two tracks. Really nice idea.

Thanks, cocney. :) I thought a lot about the yellow since I realized it has the tendency of jumping out of the screen but in the end decided it's the only option for a track like this.

Nice track and I really like what you did with those houses and rectangles in the bottom right. :) Were you inspired by liquorice for those circles or did that come to your mind only when naming the track?

Unusually tidy object placement in comparison to your usual habbits. :D

I wonder if the yellow and red would be more comfortable for eyes and yet sufficient for intention in a 1px chequered pattern with tarmac.

Well, chaos is fun to some extent but at times you need to try other things as well. ;)

I actually tried chequered yellow/tarmac and again decided that just yellow is the way to go. :cool2:
