[cir] Fyizia Circuit

Post by SammieVL »

I'm back! :goal:

Thank the track editor for the name...

Fyizia Circuit is a small raceway built on a hill, leading to slight bankings and elevations. Combined with the challenging course composed of straights and chicanes and you've got a fun racetrack that's challenging to drive on and find a good racing line.

It also includes three variations, these are the main circuit without the small chicane, a shorter variation skipping the first big corner section, and the same shorter version without the small chicane.

The zip also contains the full size track picture.

Enjoy! :)

Do I see some hints of Lime Rock in the track?

Probably not. I don't know a lot about real life racing and real life racing circuits and i mostly just made a layout that's cool rather than taking parts from real life tracks.

I think it would be better if it was driven clockwise. Great simple track. Like in good ol' times!

Well, it does look a bit like Lime Rock, but it is certainly original, too :bg:

Very good and challenging racetrack! Simple, beautiful and well done. It's a real pleasure to look at. The only thing I am not sure about are the pit crews positions. Like this, I have to go across them when i leave the pit.

There are some unnecessarily dangerous points too. (please see the attached picture)

Regardless, it is one of the most enjoyable racetracks I have ever seen.
