[cir] Nesbrod by Mad Dan and egamad

Post by Mad Dan »

Hey guys,
this is a track we made together with egamad, not sure how old it is precisely but it is safe to say that couple of years at least.
It comes from my layout and both of us worked on it at some points :). An old WIP relased just now.
Back in the day we collaborated on occasion and it was always fun.

World size: 170
Length: 392

Quite fast circuit with couple of tricky corners.

I found the layout disturbingly similar to Sitheus. :? Otherwise it's very decent track.

Yeah those layouts are simmilar :). I think I tried to explore different openess and closeness of the starting sequence of corners with change of scale :). I have no idea which layout was started first :D

Huh, that's kind of amusing. Sitheus looks like a chibi version of this track :D

That's a very nice track you two have done. :) The track seems to be flat, but it is still challenging, because of those tight turns. Especially the tight chicane in the begining of a lap is hard to get right and it often causes a mess in the start. There isn't any easy overtaking places. If you get past an AI, you can easily lose your place back to it. It's a good thing, when you feel like wanting to drive on a track, where you really have to fight to get past AIs, but sometimes it might be too frustrating to fight with same AI for long time.

Visually the track looks good. The paddock looks somehow interesting to my eye, even though it's quite simple and there is nothing spectacular.

Thank you Emil for reviewing :).
AIs went to be quite tough, maybe it's more because of the layout. I went for tricky maybe too much :D.
