[cir] Ares 2010

Post by Areen »

Hello . This is my first track on this forum. I named it: Ares 2010. Why 2010? It's a re-make of my previous track "Ares", which I made in July 2009. Just look at it...

... dirty and underdeveloped, is it? Relax. Look down, it's a re-make ;]

Very nice kerbs and it look nice on first view, but there are lot of things, which can be improved. The chicane is too open, so it doesn't works (not slow down the driver), rest of layout is very good. :yummy: The infield is overfilled by different textures, but there is lack of ideas made by objects (especially the huge tarmacked area in middle right has big potential), there is no road to track, no parkings for spectators, no paddock etc etc and too much quasi-Bahrain textures (one can be good for showing inspiration and giving a kind of tribute, but this number is too much). I hope this will help you in next your projects. :bg:

4/5. Keep trackmaking.

My only real objections to this are the wall placements are dodgy in areas (or seemed to be), and the lack of dithering, particularly off the circuit. And it reminds me more of Dubai than Bahrain layout-wise, though I don't know why.
