Re: Poll about tags reform
Thanks to all people, who sent their vote!
The results will be applied in Handbook tomorrow and all topics will be checked too and their tags corrected, if necessary.

Re: Poll about tags reform
well that was close, interesting that so many people voted to keep the current system when that apparently was the problem
Re: Poll about tags reform
Well, it was only one third so not that many anyway.Bouncebackability wrote:well that was close, interesting that so many people voted to keep the current system when that apparently was the problem

Re: Poll about tags reform
So does it means that the motion isn't accepted since we 50% of votes to pass a law?TuomoH wrote:Well, it was only one third so not that many anyway.Bouncebackability wrote:well that was close, interesting that so many people voted to keep the current system when that apparently was the problem

Re: Poll about tags reform
No, the proposal is accepted. Handbook is updated and now I even checked and updated all using of rax/ral tags in forum.

Re: Poll about tags reform
Nice work, I only have one question though, if the track in question is a rally stage track, is it properly tagged as [ral] [stg] Track or [stg] Track, considering the [stg] tag is described "for rallies", so there is no need for the [ral]? Or can the [stg] tag be used in other types too, like [wat] perhaps?

Re: Poll about tags reform
stg can be used for anything, not only rallies - water tracks, stunts, even ovals if you will make a ''from A to B'' course in its map.
Edited: In case of rallies [ral] [stg] Track is correct, because if anybody search stages, he wants all of them.

Re: Poll about tags reform
Well, and when it's rally stage, but on public roads, is it [ral] [stg], [roa] [stg] or [ral] [roa] [stg]?

Re: Poll about tags reform
If I understood BBA well, [ral] [stg].

Re: Poll about tags reform
Well, so it's what I expected. If rally is on tarmac, it's still a rally. Thanks Ivo.

Re: Poll about tags reform
basically, if its offroad its a [ral], if its tarmac, but is rally-esque, eg a tarmac rally stage, its a [ral]. if its meant to be a [ral], its a [ral][ral][stg] rally germany
[ral][stg] rally bohemia
[ral] Ededee
[ral] e.g. Croft Rallycross track
