[stc] Greenville

Gravel, tarmac, snow. Whatever the surface, you'll find it here.

[stc] Greenville

Post by TuomoH »

After more than year and a half without new tracks, I'm finally back in business! :)

Greenville is a fast street course with some nice hmap changes. The AI has been designed for the original Formula.

Btw, this one might be the longest-in-production track in the entire GR history since I made the layout and hmap back in 2003 or 2004. :greybeard:

Sorry, didn't realize the name was already in use. It's hard to come up with totally new names if one wants to use basic words. :)

Any comments on how it drives?

Very narrow with 5 AI. Viewport is too flat IMO.

Edit: Better for Mini from default carpack.

Tested it, I actually quite like it the way it is, the only debatable thing might be how easy one hits the green hedges at the top, and is slowed down so much. But I like how mini it is. Drove it with a non-default car-pack racer, a F1 type.

I knew I had to try this one :D
The Hmap is as tricky as expected, took me some time to get to know how to hande the uphill corner  .
The scenery is lovely, nice work with the cliff - it always amazes me how many ways it can be done.
Challenging track :bg:

Thanks for the comments, guys. :)

The narrowness and POV are naturally based on my personal preferences but it's good to hear that also some other cars fit other players here. :cool2:

The cliff: At first I just threw some splotches of color around and was very surprised to see how well it worked there. Then there was no turning back. :D
