[rwl] [cir] [tpk] GP de Campo Grande

Post by Bruno Asp »

Hello everybody,

{THE PACK WAS UPDATED AND IS ABOVE}

As you can see, really got carried away with the designs of the slopes for Generally. Despite its size, Brazil has few racetracks when compared with other territorially smaller countries such as Argentina, for example. However, although the quantity is small, we have good clues and I will start to dedicate myself to them.

This one is the International Speedway Orlando Moura, located in Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul. He is 3433 meters long in a counterclockwise direction, and has three curves to the right and six to the left side and has one of the greatest lines in Brazil, with 960 meters. It was inaugurated on August 5, 2001, with the completion of the 6 Step Formula Truck. Currently receives significant categories of motor racing in Brazil, as the Stock Car, Formula Truck, Pick Up and Brazilian Championship Racing Motorbike.

Information:
Autódromo Internacional Orlando Moura
Campo Grande, MS, Brasil
The track length is 3.433 km with 9 corners.
The long straight is about 960 m

I hope you enjoy it!

Good job indeed, but why does it remind me of Rio de Janeiro in terms of lay-out?
After testing I shall comment further.

Edit: After testing I found it indeed a nice track. Can give some fun racing I think. Only one small request though, can you also add a non Safer Pits version of both tracks into the .zip? As I'm still no fan of those kind of Pits.

Hey Genetleman and Cross! Thanks!

CaLu, I am working on it! I´ll post here as soon as possible. I believe that the strokes have been made by the same person. But I'm not sure.

Let me ask something: i heard in Brazilian Generally forum that the people don´t like escape painted on black. What do you think about? I solved to paint on black because when we see the circuit on google earth it is so dark, almost black. In addition, acts as a speed reducer for those who like to take shortcuts.

Thanks

Bruno

I would prefer one color for dark tarmac no matter if it's track or safety area, I would like them by tarmac same like track. :bg:

Thanks, this works a lot better for me when I'm about to go into the pits.

About the run-off areas you've mentioned. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be black-esque. As it gave a little bit more color to the circuit.
With other words, I like the idea of a black run-off. The thing I dislike, and you've already worked that out is the safer pits idea.

Greetz, CaLu.
