Any time for JEA?
I'm sure that people are whiling to make a JEA ( ) so the real question is to know if you people would have time for participating in this project... Since JE is quite slow to move on, I'm not sure... Please vote and/or comment about the situation... Be fair while you vote: If you don't have time, vote no! False results would be useless...
BTW, JEA is open to everyone(But ToMers) and not so high skills are required to enter...

Err... you probably mean "not so high" skills Although I still voted no, because I have no skills whatsoever...
I like short, simple signatures!

Admins/mods are already aware of this problem and something is being done about it.
Btw, my opinion is that as long as JE isn't running, why bother starting JEA?

Yeah.. If there's not enough of people to finish two squares and FTs (or something like that), I doubt there's enough of people to fill up two JEs.

Ok, thanks for giving feed back about it. As long as JE isn't rolling properly, I won't botter anyone again about this.

Topic closed by request of TGF. It was very late when locking thread, so reason has not been written...

Re: Any time for JEA?
OK, time to TGF to think, if restart it seriously.
I'm for yes - to finish unfinished project and start next (maybe under different rules like WS120 divided to 4 pieces plus FT for 5 amateurs per project.

Re: Any time for JEA?
There clearly is enough 'amateurs' around now this site has found it's feet, i think it should be started, as long as TGF can keep his cool

Re: Any time for JEA?
I have the latest .trk file (but not in the original zip). I hope to see this finished soon.

Re: Any time for JEA?
Ok, hum anybody interested in FTs?
Re: Any time for JEA?
This isn't the latest one. AFAIR, Pacman did the final square and TGF even did FTs, but people didn't like it. I will try to find that version.egamad wrote:I have the latest .trk file (but not in the original zip). I hope to see this finished soon.
Re: Any time for JEA?
Really? I had no idea, sorry for my mistake.
Re: Any time for JEA?
Ok. Here it is.
I've found 2 versions with top-left square.
First one is probably TGF's And second is either someone's with my efforts or mine (I don't remember). Both unfinished.

Re: Any time for JEA?
No one of those versions is made by TGF, AFAIK. But he did one. ... I remember I was pretty furious, when I saw it (no matter, that I was not involved in the project), because it had some not nice elements by concrete walls and its pitlane was made though the smaller (narrower) bridge, which was out of conception of the track and wasn't very playable. These two versions have pitlanes as was originally imagined and even both are nice. I'm sure, that there is not the TGF's version, but maybe he made another one later.

Re: Any time for JEA?
Well, that doesn't really matter. The main thing is that top-left square was made and someone can take FTs. There isn't very much work to do, IMHO.

Re: Any time for JEA?
Ok... Anybody interested into doing the FTs? The FTer choose one of the two track from Buka's post and finish it. I think that it's ok if someone who did a square do the FTs
Also it would be cool if someone could write who did what in the following posts.
Get this finished so we can start a new JEA!!!

Re: Any time for JEA?
Can someone send me the JEA09 by e-mail please so I can upload it in here? I don't have it...
Also, about the rules, do you people think that there should be any changes?
Rules below:
Also, about the rules, do you people think that there should be any changes?
Rules below:
The Rules
You should not have won a ToM. 1st 2nd or 3rd.
9 people have to book a square.
The first one who books starts, and after that somebody next to that square has to make his.
When you book a square, post the message so that I can understand what you mean.
If a JEA participant receives a ToM podium during a project, but before their part is completed, they may still do that part but will not be allowed in future projects. Any JE or JEA track does not count against any participant.
Rules and tips for the track:
Think about how the track 'goes'. Don't just make a few curves that make it (almost) impossible to continue with the track in a normal way.
Make your square as beautiful as possible, it's just a little square, but you can do so much with it, don't be afraid to spend more than 30 minutes. (less is OK too of course, it just has to look nice)
Don't change the theme, you can make something different on your square, but don't start to make a square without snow on a snow track...
If you book a square in JointEffortAmateurs, you thereby agree to make your square in time, (means that you don't hold it up for ages) but use time and effort with it to make it as good as possible.
If it is your turn to make a square, and you have not posted it within 7 days, your square will be given to someone else.
Every square cannot include a piece of the track, so there needs to be some scenery only squares. They are as important as the track squares.
The track doesn't have to use all the space of your square or always go trough the middle of it. It can just cut the corner or one side of it. Try to imagine the whole map without the squares. Otherwise the track will end up "square-ish".
Remember: Details, scenery and eye candy make the track alive. Use your creativity as much as you can, every square is like your own signature to the track. It also shows your skills to everyone. Of course, never forget the track flow and driveability.

Re: Any time for JEA?
Bottom-right was PacmanOwnage's. Middle-right was definitely PONA's. And top-right I think was TLN's, but I'm not sure abou this one.

Re: Any time for JEA?
Yup, i did do bottom right, which was at one point changed with the middle right into a park by someone, but i can't remember who?
...i took the top left as no one had done anything for over a month on the track but no one else was willing to finish it
But it doesn't seem like anyone has that final product
