[rwl] [cir] Velopark

Post by Bruno Asp »

Hello Everybody

Unlike the last track I posted, I really like that here. This is the Velopark, the newest racetrack in Brazil. It is located in a park facing the lovers of racing, with the same name, located in the city of Nova Santa Rita, in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Officially opened on May 2, 2010 with proof of Stock Car project complements the speed options of velopark. It was designed taking into account the most modern standards applied to new racetracks in the world. His track, counterclockwise, is 2168 meters, comprising nine two curves and long straights.

Besides the official competitions of national and international championships, the circuit will be a race track and place of training, working seven days a week. The circuit is also used for regular courses on safe driving and the velopark for projects involving the public in general. You can find more info here: http://www.velopark.com.br/

With regard to Generrally I can say that is a track that plays fast and tries to reproduce the reality of the circuit, because I studied a lot of pictures and maps of the area of velopark. I managed to also make an effective composition of objects that please those who enjoy good tracks to race, but also, as I, like the details of it.

Best regrats!

This file contains the version number two of this track, which takes into account the reunification of hay bales, as directed by Calu. I took this pack to insert variations of the track-off areas with safe, safe pits, and a less real life variation, with the change in the box entrance.

Nice made circuit, the only things that comes into sight are the hey bales at the lower left straigt as there are gaps between them.

Other thing I find perculiar is the length of the pit entrance. As it is a RWL I only can say that it is real, but remarkable too me.

But the most important is that it is a very nice track and I think this one will give some fun races.

Compared to the original the chicane after s/f straight it seems to be too hard (but of course it should still be a chicane ;)
Looks nice, I'll test it now :bg:

Hello friends!
First, I would like to thank the comments. Glad you enjoyed the track!

CaLu, sorry, but I could not identify wich hay bales that you indicated. Could you identify it to me? I believe I have not understood, on account of my knowledge no such advance in the English language. Sorry. About the pit entrance, that´s it. I confess that I even thought about doing the pit entrance of a more conventional way in the "Generally", but would end up depriving the status "RWL".

XYY, sorry, but could not identify wich chicane you are talking about. Would it be the first corner, the hairpin? (Again, sorry, I did not understand because of my English. I try to practice more to not commit more gaffes here). I hope your comments after the test!

Thank you all!

Ei amigo... ele ta falando daquela primeira curva... Curvas desse tipo são chamadas de chicanes

I meant the chicane before sf straight, thought it was driven clockwise :sorry:
but after driving I have to say: its good to drive but I personally dislike the optical bridge after 1st corner (cause you drive "over" it..)

Otto speaks, all right? Thanks for everything, but I do know what a chicane. What happened was that I read "the chicane after s/f straight" and the end of the line there is no chicane, but a Hairpin, so the doubt. Anyway, thanks for the explanation and the drawing. How could you have seen, the XYY was confused because he believed that the runway was clockwise, so the confusion. Glad you liked the track! Greetings

Fala Otto, tudo legal?

How is XYY? Now I understand. In fact the track is in a counter-clockwise, so it made no sense to me when you said "the chicane after the s / f online". Now knowing that the track is in a counterclockwise direction, do you still think that it is a difficult chicane? About the optical effect of the bridge, in the principle it was the best solution I found. But maybe I could do a second version considering your comments and those of CaLu, mischaracterizing a little question of RWL, but leaving the track a little more arcade. Greetings and thanks for the comments!

If you use a tool by majortom (I'm not sure which) you can export the car.
