[tpk] [cir] [ovl] Ex Pack

Post by Dragon »

Hi all, this is my first track pack.
It's an experimental pack with WS 255 micro tracks.
List of tracks:
Woodxall Town: it's a street circuit with a roundabout.
Landclifk: it's a short oval located in the countryside.
Kaunopolis: it's a circuit similar to Indianapolis Formula 1 circuit.
Fort Stones: it's a superspeedway with big garages .
Fènix: it's an oval similiar to the Phoenix International Raceway.

I know that AI line isn't good but I couldn't do better.
Hope you like it, please leave a comment.

1st one looks like Phoenix international raceway.
2nd one seems a mini version Indianapolis motor speedway.
The last oval seems a banked version Martinsville speedway.
I like oval racing and I like these ovals, good job!!!

They look REALLY great and I'll test them, but you could also try something else than 45° and 90° :hide:

You are quickly becoming one of my favourite track makers :flip:

Fullscreen circuits are always my favourites... but your tracks are just better, they are neatly presented, and although have the same style, it works very well.

Keep up the good work :trampo:

I had no problems with the AI line at all, maybe just one thing: sometimes the player can make a shorcut by driving on the pit entry-exit strips, while the AI doesn't cheat this way (but I did - and won! :) ) No big deal though, in a compo the problematic area would be safepitted and that's it.

I love your tracks, I consider myself a fan of your fullscreen style, all your works are really nice, including this pack!

Fönix, Landclifk and Woodxall Town are really lovely.

Just one note, all the pitlanes and infields of the ovals are too much similar to each other (booths, houses, no pitwall), the details not variate very much in that area (Fort Stones' pit buildings are cool exemption).

4,8/5

you should open the track in the trackeditor and have a look at the details of the lmap, you can learn a lot by doing this for many things in trackmaking
