Since I again discovered Generally in fall of 2008 I made many tracks. I don´t know exactly how many tracks I made but it´s surely more than 120 :D. Most of them are fullscreen rallies so I decided to re-relase the very best of them in a pack, somekind of "Tracks by haq that you should try before you die". So I was browsing my folders with my GR stuff and suddenly idea came to my mind, "I should make few new tracks for the pack too!" At the end I chose 15 older and 15 brand new tracks. Aaand here goes:

BEST OF HAQ

This pack contains 32 tracks (30 tracks + 2 versions of Dett)

List of tracks

2008
Peat-bog - Breakthrough track which brought fresh wind into rally trackmaking, located in Jizera mountains in "peat-bog"
Siberia - Snowy rally in Siberia forest.
Dusty2 - This one is remake of old desert FSR, the original version was bad. Rally in desert, nothing special.
Dosjyk - Part of Split Pack which I made with onder, gravel roads in forest

2009
Flashinet - Part of Frosty Pack, quite popular, it has nice cliff and creek.
Paseka - This one supposed to be located in Scandinavia, whatever.
Glace - Part of Northern Pack. Snowy rally, first attmept of what I call "structured dithering".
Neige - Snowy on again, this time I wanted to experiment a bit with dithering by gravel and snow.
Zasnezena - Big snowy rally, you will drive through football playground.
Wildfire - Part of Southern Pack. I love its POV.
Cesnek - Just desert rally.

2010
Craava - Part of Forgotten Pack. Half tarmac, half mud.
Doopa - Snowy rally, minimalistic dithering but quite cool IMO.
Efrik - Part of Forgotten Pack, snowy rally with sandy road.
Ragerrak - Part of Forgotten Pack 2. Influented by onder a lot.
Troxap - Small but funny gravel rally.

New
Aarvii - My personal masterpiece, last one from this pack with IMO lovely landscape.
Boiny - Winding tarmac road.
Dett - 3 versions of rally in forest, normal, reversed and stage.
Evoond - Village in southern country, don´t crash into that house!.
Julaba - A: "Desert, village, palm trees, what more do you need?" B: "WRC car!".
Kaporico - Deep jungle, you will jump above river here.
Libgao - Desert once more, nice layout with jump and "karussel".
Medvedi - Snowy landscape with small lakes, one of them look like bear so theres name from (Medvěd = bear in czech)
Ranee - Someone built small rally course in forest, lucky guy.
Toxohu - "Scandinavian" landscape, style simmilar to Ragerrak.
Tykeff - That supposed to be in Finland, I have some more plans with this one.
Veillof - I am least satisfied with this one, I don´t know what is wrong with it but somehow...
Yij - Tarmac road then muddy road then jump through ponds and again on muddy road...
Yrlu - Snowy rally with IMO awesome dithering, lakes, style and layout.

Well, long list :yummy:. Everybody can find there his favourite rally, I´m sure there are good ones. I tried to choose really my best tracks, I hope that I didn´t forget any good "haqish" fsr :hide:.

Thanks to Ivo for being ready to help and for his help:, thanks to onder for his tracks which were very inspirational for me, thanks to egamad for feedback during those years and for his cool tracks :bg:.

And to say: THIS AIN´T GOODBYE PACK!

:rally:

Dett SS, Kaporico and Libgao are my 3 favorite (after hard choosing). Completely amazing.

Toxohu is not cup of tea (too much or too less white - a middle quantity, which not gives the right feeling - not a fish, not a crayfish) and Veillof really misses something.

Great pack! :bg:

I thought i may aswell download them, give them a go :D

..And, i am impressed, some of the tracks are wonderful to drive on, others are wonderful to look at, and some are a mixture of the two.

Although i can't remember which ones, some tracks had AI trouble, and in particular one had the AI driving absolutely through the landscape  ..but maybe that was meant to happen and i missed a massive shortcut

It was Dett SS, which is meant as special stage (for only 1-lap-racing). ;)

Since I'm using the Awesome Linux Ubuntu 10.04 right now, I cannot test it with resolution greater than 640*480... It looks crappy but layout are nice to driver when virtual box decides to not lag too much :D

I'm positive it was a normal circuit, i shall find it... (edit: It was veillof)

...other AI trouble was the line driving straight over a stone on certain tracks and sending them flying over a corner :shake2:

I very like that pack, spend few hours driving it yesterday ;o
What can I say, in some of the tracks there are some badly placed objects (hay bales, stones) which make AI go out of track or slow down quite often so racing was soo easy :P Btw thats weird you didn't included Vselibice :D

Vselibice is road circuit, not FSR :p
