Wow! It's nice to see a new track from you
The track is really awesome and stuff (as many will say) but I tested the track with 3 ai-100's, as you suggested, and I noticed that they were quite slow, since I won by half lap to the second.
The kerb color is quite unusual, but I think that the choice isn't bad because I can't think about better combinations to suit the track.
The object placement is ok, maybe a bit banal (?) in some places, but interesting in other places (that water thing that is really interesting ).
The textures are great and well-placed.
I really liked the track in general, and I'm looking forward to see some more new tracks by you!
P.S. Why did you name a track after a bacteria?

Yeah, I'm some what surprised too.Darjo wrote:Wow! It's nice to see a new track from you
I agree they could be faster but I don't know how to make them. Though when hotlapping alone, AI100 could drive 13.18s which is already quite decent but race makes them slower. Not sure how they drive with higher AI level.Darjo wrote:I tested the track with 3 ai-100's, as you suggested, and I noticed that they were quite slow, since I won by half lap to the second.
I can't promise more new tracks. There's no WIP-tracks awaiting and I haven't started making new one since this one and that was somewhere in last September. Never know when I get inspired though.Darjo wrote:I'm looking forward to see some more new tracks by you!
Well, actually there's many things named after a Greek god called Proteus. While that being secondary reason, my primary reason to use the name was a nice SID-tune which was named after the god.Darjo wrote:P.S. Why did you name a track after a bacteria?
Thanks for all comments.

Love the track. I'm partial to small tracks with interesting corners and a smooth layout. 5/5

Re: [cir] Proteus
The fist curve is great fun and I'm very impressed by the track surface. Very cool. On other hand maybe there is too much red in dithering.
In sum clear 5/5.

It's really great to see a track from you
The track is really enjoyable to drive, the hmap and layout are excellent.
Mostly it looks good, but the ice doesn't fit the rest of the track's color-world. And I agree with Ivo about red.
So I changed the ice to darker tarmac, and also removed some of the dirt from those areas + removed most of the red, and then it looked as great as any other track by you
I'll wait for your next track now - hopefully for less than 1,5 years
