New Direction puts fun and realism back in the car physics.
Revisions were made.
Notes
- As with Generally Motorsport, New Direction also uses a performance index system (PI) to measure a vehicle's overall performance. The classes and their respective ranges are:
- Common: Under 251
Evolved: 251~350
Super: 351~450
Ultimate: 451~549
R3: 550~649
R2: 650~799
R1: 800~999
- Braking distances are VERY long: drive more cautiously than you would with a normal GR car! McTurbo fans may be familiar with the way these cars drive.
- Downforce is significantly higher on race cars than in any GRM version, which means you can take fast turns at fast speed.
- Cars are released in various states of finish:
- Alpha1: First model version, probably really glitchy. Physics may be revised, and car does not have custom sounds.
Alpha2: Improved model with less glitching. Physics more or less done. If it has a custom sound, it'll likely be a placeholder.
Beta1: Model is finished. Physics are more or less done. Sounds are placeholders.
Beta2: Pretty much all done unless someone points out a game-breaking glitch.
- WET WEATHER SUPPORT!!!! Race on wet tracks using Longbow's Rain Palette!
- Note: This project still uses the GRM sound pack.
