Oh dear. The GT6 failed miserably in-game, it looked vaguely OK in careditor... :weep: Looks more like a Hillman Imp :doh: (red, green and yellow cars). At least the MGB (white/turquoise) and MGC GTs (black) look OK, if missing their chrome bumpers.

Tested:

Bugs
Wrong colors chosen (more read here).
Use normals button in Lightning mode in Model window's view.
Left fender doesn't share vertex with grill, you can save one (13 X 17).
Poly order is wrong - the higher on model, the more on right should be in order or it looks messy in game.

Proposed model improvements
Front window still isn't on half of model like the GTA pic - try to move front window for 0,15 closer to front.
Try to close rear fender by adding poly to join it with bottom-end of body (9 polies remains).
Front hood looks too thin in game, try to move fenders' vertexes, which touch the hood, on about +-0,35/+0,3/+1,1 and fill the gap to hood by 2 more polies.
With one remaining and one saved vertexes and 9/5 remaining polies you can add a gray rear bumper.
Maybe wheels can be bit smaller.

Physic
Works well, I had fun while testing.

@Maxaxle:

You can move polies by the two arrows just under the poly slider on the top left of the window.
And as Ivo/Trigger Happy said, put the polies that you want to appear over some other ones higher on
the list, by moving them to the right :p

Example: the roof polies should be at the rightest, then the windows, etc...

Thanks! I'll have an updated version up sometime tomorrow (as it is late).

EDIT: Finally got around to editing the car.
1. Got the polys in proper order (I think).
2. I couldn't find the poly from 12-20-21 or the one from 11-24-26.
3. Assuming colors 0-4 are not good choices, BUT I want the primary color(s) to be the player color, what do you suggest?

In the meantime, I present a redundant update.

I guess it's just that you always tried to make holes where the wheels are so that you have less vertices for details. I couldn't do it like you do it :shy:
But thanks for your positive comment anyway. Other thoughts? (except that I could maybe release sth. :D )

Truth. A small hint, if you have somewhere deep inside you a small shadow of ambition to be carmaster once - I recommend to get inspiration from Masa's way of release of car project by small bits when the bit is done rather than releasing one opus magnum during your career. ;)

They are the ONLY choices for player colors in CE palette. Hence, the advice not use any player palette other than 0 and/or 4. OK!? :mad: :D

My recent model.. I even managed to make rear lights :goal:.
As you've probably noticed, I'm using quite unusual way of colouring cars :misch:. I don't know if someone else is/was using it, but it's my personal invention which I named 'fake reflections'. I use not only colour [0], but also [1] and [2]. In Car Editor it looks quite strange:

But in GR... very realistic. Compare these two cars in the screens.

The first one uses 'fake reflections' and the second one has normal colours. And the first look way better, because the reflections are more expressive, while the second one looks quite 'flat' and fuzzy.

I'll try to release some cars made this way, maybe in several days when I'll have four or five models finished :shhh:.

You obviously have a customed car colour setup in CE then, but the model looks absolutely brilliant, good job! I'm assuming it is either a Murcielago or a Gallardo? :P
