I think the shape of the car is perfect. The only thing that looks weird to me is the gap inside the windows. If you've already maxed out the poly count you would have to sacrifice somewhere else to fill that in. If you have 2 more polys you could probably do it though by closing the "top" of the car's interior. I used a cheat on my Bugatti Veyron by eliminating all the windshield and side windows, but just closing in the top of the interior like that and using the window color on those polys. It looks less good in a preview, but looks good on track.

I´m having break from trackmaking now, because I discovered fun of carmaking :D

this car is peugeot 207 s2000 with very bad driveability and psychics overall, just tried to make those polygons look like it ;) not sure if it will be relased but :misch:

Returning to car making again, sooner than expected, with a Formula Renault. Will become a pack of the British championship for last year.

My first attempt was audi R8, but when I started to do rear of the vehicle, I ran out of vertexs.
Any tips to help? I could use some help and I used lots of polys in the hood.
I had maybe 20 polys left...

Im really sorry, cause im doubleposting, but I need really help. I tried to do it again and I always have over 20 polies left, but I dont have enough vertex's. Can somebody please give me tips how to save vertex's? Im maybe doing something wrong. When I create new poly, I create a new vertex. Thats all I can say.

Do you make all three new vertexes for one poly? Many polies can use the same vertex.

And you don't need vertexes to both inside and outside the car, only outside, and you could replace windows with a simple car interior or, if this is black, use shadow...
Hope this helps you :cool2:

Well, IMHO it's cool. :)

Only the real car has square-like intake on sides instead of triangle, but that's marginal.

Finally, I got something done. I was going to make Top secret S15. Polys wasnt enough for a wing, so its not complete version. Im going to remove the dark brown thingy beside head lights. Also polys wasnt enough for head lights  , so it needs improvement.
Bumber needs improvement too.

The Cruze looks somewhere similar to my version, however, you've solved a problem what I didn't - in the front, I had a long poly connected down to the ground, thanks to the "floating" wings, which your car doesn't have.

However I would wait until 888 won't reveal its livery, after that, you may post your BTCC pack ^^

No (don't even have that car on my hard drive), but I did look at DXTR's Cruze whilst making it, so that's why there are similarities.
