For 2012, the IZOD IndyCar Series has moved to a brand new formula. The DW12 chassis is named after its test driver, the late Dan Wheldon, who tragically perished in the final race of the 2011 IndyCar Season. Made by Dallara, the car features a return to pushrod suspensions, ground effect tunnels, and other technologies that the former IR07 chassis lacked. For safety purposes, the sidepods and front wing extend out beyond the tires, and a new rear bumper has been added in an effort to curb the airborne crashes that were a hallmark of the previous car. The swept-back sidepods also give the DW12 a distinctive, radical look. In addition, the engine package has been revamped, becoming a 2.2 litre turbocharged V-6, made by Honda, Chevrolet, or Lotus.
This pack consists of the 26 primary cars that are running the full IndyCar schedule, as well as a blank car. They have been given a slightly rear-heavy balance, to mimic the actual car's weight distribution.

The first cars I've seen from you... And looks very promising!
I don't know how much you have made cars or released somewhere, but it's great to get some new car
makers, there's too few nowadays
My personal preference is that the sidepods could be a little narrower, but that's only my opinion, and all add-on makers are artists, they should
make creations in a way they like As I said at first, looks very promising.
Btw, didn't know that the chassis is named after Dan Wheldon... Very nice of Dallara
EDIT: Ah, and please remove the gap between the tags... Or the thread probably won't be found when searched (and the mods would tell you to do so if I didn't )

I have done a few other things before, but I tend to bounce in and out as the mood strikes.

One of most funny cars I could drive lately.
The idea slightly heavy rear works great!

Don't you think this one would deserve the [ovl] tag as well?

I like how they look and the balance, but overall these cars seem quite slow and too easy to control, especially on the ovals I tested them on.
I like short, simple signatures!

Just a wild guess because of high position of rear wing, but I think it may be road spec (that's why no ovl tag and good control on them).

Thats an issue of the Indycar, it has too much downforce and not enough ponies.bduddy wrote:I like how they look and the balance, but overall these cars seem quite slow and too easy to control, especially on the ovals I tested them on.
