[ovl] [ser] [cpk] NASCAR Sprint Cup 2013 (Gen 6 cars)

Post by puttz »

And now, in time for the start of the 2013 season, my version of the Gen 6 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Cars. Included in the pack are the Chevy SS, Toyota Camry, and Ford Fusion (from left to right in the screenshot). There is 1 player color version of each car, along with 38 painted cars for all of the major teams/drivers, and a few of the minor teams/drivers. As a bonus, I have included driver files for each painted car with AI values set according to how well they drove last season (for example, champion Brad Keselowski has a value of 100, whereas the lesser known drivers have values in the mid 80's.) I hope people enjoy these cars :bg:

List of the cars present in the file:

Chevy SS
1-Jamie McMurray (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing)
5-Kasey Kahne (Hendrick Motorsports)
7-Dave Blaney (Tommy Baldwin Racing)
10-Danica Patrick (Stewart Haas Racing)
14-Tony Stewart (Stewart Haas Racing)
24-Jeff Gordon (Hendrick Motorsports)
27-Paul Menard (Richard Childress Racing)
29-Kevin Harvick (Richard Childress Racing)
31-Jeff Burton (Richard Childress Racing)
39-Ryan Newman (Stewart Haas Racing)
42-Juan Pablo Montoya (Earnhardt Ganassi Racing)
48-Jimmie Johnson (Hendrick Motorsports)
51-Regan Smith (Phoenix Racing)
78-Kurt Busch (Furniture Row Racing)
88-Dale Earnhardt Jr. (Hendrick Motorsports)

Ford Fusion
2-Brad Keselowski (Penske Racing)
9-Marcos Ambrose (Richard Petty Motorsports)
13-Casey Mears (Germain Racing)
16-Greg Biffle (Roush Fenway Racing)
17-Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (Roush Fenway Racing)
21-Trevor Bayne (Wood Brothers Racing)
22-Joey Logano (Penske Racing)
34-David Ragan (Front Row Motorsports)
38-David Gilliland (Front Row Motorsports)
43-Aric Almirola (Richard Petty Motorsports)
98-Michael McDowell (Phil Parsons Racing)
99-Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing)

Toyota Camry
11-Denny Hamlin (Joe Gibbs Racing)
15-Clint Bowyer (Michael Waltrip Racing)
18-Kyle Busch (Joe Gibbs Racing)
20-Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing)
30-David Stremme (Swan Racing)
47-Bobby Labonte (JTG Daugherty Racing)
55-Mark Martin (Michael Waltrip Racing)
56-Martin Truex Jr. (Michael Waltrip Racing)
83-David Reutimann (BK Racing)
87-Joe Nemechek (NEMCO-JRR)
93-Travis Kvapil (BK Racing)

(Yes, I am aware that the wheels are poking through the hood, but there's really not much I can do about it without compromising the looks of the car slightly and raising it higher off the ground. And at normal zoom levels for tracks, I can't even see it happening, so I see it as a non-issue.)

you could also try sticking the wheels out more + smaller wheel sizes to prevent/lower chances of clipping

If you're choosing smaller the evil of two, of either slightly higher position of model above ground/wheels or front wheels flashing through front hood, tell me, which of them is more spoiling overall impression (=torpedoing your effort as whole) the in a top-view game? :)

But I agree with Haruna, smaller wheels may be most suitable solution.

Otherwise look great, I cannot wait to test them. :yummy:
