As all of you probably regconised, we of CoM had problems to put up the results in time.
Herbal is no longer consistently able to run the Car of the Month awards due to other constraints, so I'm searching for a new partner.
If you're interested, please tell it here in the discussion topic, and hopefully we could do next CoM without delays... :)

Sorry, but I was away for one week. But as no one else told me that he's interested, you can expect a pm from me in the next few days... :D

Are you really sure, that the UOGRC pack, which I did, is really eligible for the election, when it includes several models, which were made in previous months (and some of them even took a part in CoM), please?

Why not? Someone nominated ACM's Monstertruck and we also uploaded the whole pack. I don't see a problem there ;)

But in that case one or more same cars would take a part in more elections without any reasoning by its updating/improvement or not?

I'm personally inclined to simply cancel CoM, since there are very few nominations for these last two months, but ultimately it's not my decision.

If all possibilities for improvement haven't been exhausted, then you'd do better with focusing your mind by this way than giving up. :bg:

Might be time to go to a quarter year format that includes everything in that timeframe by default? It skips a stage and gets to the nitty gritty of voting quicker.

I've become disillusioned with the lack of interest in CoM and announce that I will be stepping down from my role at the end of this voting period.

You're confusing lack of interest about CoM with general lack of interest about carmaking. But it's theme for another discussion.

No, I haven't. I'm disillusioned with the fact that only a couple of people nominate things, and that so many things go unnominated, so I no longer wish to continue my role with CoM beyond this election.

I think even twice-a-year election would do, there would be some more significant nominations then.

Even this two-month election gives sadly few votes/nominees :(

so many things go unnominated ... this time it was 6 nominated from 11 available for all Jan. and Feb? I'm not happy either, that I was nominating alone, but still it's 55% of releases nominated in that period. What do you think, that was the % of ToM nominated tracks in same months? From 51 nominate-able tracks were 33 nominated (61%) ... I find this % of nominations from releases quite appropriate to overall level of the releases. But just 11 efforts went to finish of release in those 2 months? I agree with with you, CoM isn't perfect right now, but it's mainly (but not only as you point out) up to you and XYY to come with something to make it better. On other hand some things like overall situation cannot be changed just by you.

Btw my posts have no intentions to change your mind. If you're missing a passion from any reason to try to push CoM forward somehow, it's much better idea than the proposal for cancelling it completely like you did few posts above. Hopefully XYY has as much dedication as he seems to have.

Btw2 for long I'm really curious, how the carmaking world would look with any car editor present by default in GR every distribution pack like the TE.

I wouldn't have minded if you said it to me before posting it here, e.g. in a pm or something. :|

Anyways, I'll try to keep CoM up, but I don't have any revolutionary ideas, so...

Better yet. Still reckon the nomination part should be given the flick, less mucking about and everyone gets a fair go too.

Yeah I agree, there aren't really that many cars/packs released that nomination period would be needed.
Of course, it's an honour itself to have an own add-on nominated but there isn't that many releases in the cars section, so it doesn't have really sense.

Trigger Happy nominated R/C CAR SERIES by Ms... for CoM March/April.
Is it valid nomination? With all due respect to Masa, I have to say,
that he only resized and added antennas to his Tokyo DRIFT car pack.

I would agree it still counts - technically, all the cars have been modified, even if only in size, physics and having an aerial added.
