2010 Formula 1

LINEUP
McLaren : MP4-25
Mercedes GP : W01
Red Bull : FB6
Ferrari : F10
Williams : FW32
Renault : R30
Force India : VJM03
Toro Rosso : STR5
Lotus : T127
HRT : F110
Sauber : C29
Virgin : VR-01

2010 series isn't done refueling with by change in the regulation. So the cars have a big fuel tank, and the body space was needed more than 2009's. For that, the body became long, the rear wheels were laid out behind than 2009 models. Furthermore, the width of front tires narrowed (270mm -> 245mm). These are 2 points of conspicuous change..

Sorry for my bad English.
I hope you enjoy.

MS(Masa) :whirl:

Long Distance too hard physics??
What do you think about that??

Nice cars as always Masa :bg: .

Btw, how do you define tire widths in mm? (example a Left Front tire of 0,35 is [*]mm). And, would you like to give a feedback to my RidgEout Racers car?
Y'all, I just woke up... what did I miss?

Oh my god. :wow:

Models are wonderful (are you sure, that you used only 40 polies, Ms...? :D) and the long distance physic has nothing to equal. It's so beautifully hard to keep all the power of car under control during leaving corner to not destroy my tyres immediately and stay making stable lap times (by preventing useless slides by my own skill - not by setup of physic) like in real the drivers must be careful on throttle with new rules about fuel. Amazing, long time I haven't seen so real and so funny (together) rwc formula 1 car pack.

What could we say else that we didn't said precedent years? You're a year's F1 cars god... What do you want that I add more? Even with the efforts of everybody in this community to make quality cars, you come with your things and everybody's at your knees... I cannot say it's bad since it's gorgeous!!!

ok, so heres what i did say:

The models are nice just as i had expected and waited for, however when it came to driving them i was a bit disapointed. i can understand why you have made the physics of the 2 packs like you have, but i cant enjoy them i cant agree with ivo on the LD pack because i felt like i was driving on ice, sliding around everwhere, not fun. the standard version was better, but it was just too slow, i get that its becuase of the whole, carrying fuel thing, but sadly fuel burning off doesnt make enough difference in GR to compensate this, so it would be nice if there was a version that was a bit quicker that didnt slide everywhere perhaps :2c:

and heres what ivo said:
... but i cant agree with ivo on the LD pack ...
I understand, I'm not typical driver (I like other game, which is described by ''driving on ice'' too :D ).

Maybe it's not allowed to pick holes in Masa's productions here? :P It seems like someone cut your post.

Lovely. Models are nice. Driving it is a handful though. Or maybe I've just gotten used to the way the 2007-2008 cars handle (I changed values just for that) :D

Thanks for all comments. :)

Opinions of pros and cons about physics, both comments are useful advices for me. But it's difficult to satisfy all mate's physics tastes. I think it's a better choice that a player remakes it on each taste by the car editor about physics respectively. For example like ianfreddie07.

That work isn't very hard, and you should try its edit.
It would be a positive measures, IMO. ;)

No, I wanted to quote him, but I mis-choose buttons and I edited his post without noticing it. I apologized him already yesterday of course.

UPDATE

version 1.1

Changed points for modeling
+ The cockpit(Head), the front part of the body and side pontoons, a little move to the rear.
+ The front wing and front wheels, a little move to the front.
+ Others, some trifling changes, etc..

Added 2 physics
+ Masa 2007 Formula 1's physics cars
+ Long Distance type 2, these are fast cars of grip tires.

LD 2's feature: The light-body and the high-power. So the rear wheels slide when if you take too much engine power on a curve. Tires will wear away intensely then. But you have to prepare for that when if needing more the fast lap time. You will need the more careful tire management.

[Ms2010] Formula 1_v1.1.zip
+ Entries list (Text)
+ Standard cars (Its physics from v1.0)
+ Long distance cars (Its physics from v1.0)
+ 2007's physics cars (Added physics)
+ Long distance type 2 cars (New physics)

What do you think about LD type 2 ??
Please tell your opinion..
:)
