Hi! It's been a long time since I've dumped, I mean postpone my RidgEout work. It's time to get real and make a real car, which is Genki Racing S2000. It's actually a Honda S2000 tuned by Genki, a video game company who make Tokyo Xtreme Racer series. Also, it has Genki Racing Project.

I don't know much about the specs, but here's some articles about Genki and stuff.

Genki's Wikipedia
Genki Racing Project's site (in Japanese)
Video of Genki Racing Project S2000's car which is featured in a video game called "Kaido Battle 3: Touge no Densetsu" (Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift 2 in USA and Kaido Racer 2 in Europe and other countries)

ENJOY! :D :drive:

Sorry, but that doesnt look like an s2000.
Is this your first car? For first its good. :D
Lights should have atleast 2 polies, it should be thinner and hood should be longer.

After loosing time on calculating some proportions, I just discovered that the model is wrong at some places...

Some very complicated explanations:

Length in pixels...
Variables concerning the real are UPPERCASE
A=123
B=71
E=229
U=636
Variables concerning the real are lowercase
a=39
b=20
e=75
u=199

First thing wrong: The height of the bumber.
a / b = 1.95
A / B = 1.73239

The ratio of height of the upper hood part and front bumper is too high on the model: The front bumper is too little

Next: Length of the car (total) comparing to lower part of engine block...
u / e = 2.65333
U / E = 2.77729
This is just a little wrong but it counts quite much since it's the total length of the car...

Oh, and also the light are flat which I think looks bad (aT least in car editor :hide: )

And it's too wide also
Anyway, Physics are ok (Feels ProStreet ish... :scratch: ) and also a little bug: The black parts are becoming blue sometimes, I don't know if it's just Normals's fault or color one... :bg:

and definately in yellow :yummy:
TIP:
If you want to take it on a drifting track, you should buy a new turbo, suspension and the most important: S2000's differential is not good for drifting, get a new 2-way locking differential.
:bg:
And for the car: I forgot to say, the car is way too low for me.
But it may be like that in real world... :scratch:

It's the normal color. Maybe the blue one is for the sky effect I think. Btw, I'll release the v1.5 tomorrow. It's night here and I'll be able to online at probably 2pm at my area after school.

I was told that GR uses chosen colour and two next colours for reflections. If you chose 169 (dark grey) game uses also 170 (grey) and 171 (dark blue). It's not everything: look at the car when it's under the water! In that case game uses also 172 (yellow). And it is yellow in the water, isn't it?

So, using 168 as the black colour in the models is IMO better than using 169.

btw. Polys aren't also normalized, anyway...

Yeah, it would be a good car... Even better would be mugen honda s2000. Mugen is a partner of Honda company. It tunes cars for street or track use. :nod:

*cough cough* off topic *cough cough*

anywayz, Nice looking car for a first (It is a first, isn't it?)

Better than what I can do.... But I hven't made any cars for awhile, I just tune them for ME and ME only. Like I made several cars fit the tracks I made based off the game MotorStorm, since the cars slide WAY to much and slow down real bad.... So yeah.

Not a HORRIBLE car, but it needs some work..

Good night. :hattip:

This car needs a diet. Too wide in my opinion.

The car still needs 2 polies to head lights... :roll:

Again, I updated this car. The car now is much more slimmer than the last version and has 2 polies for the headlights.

ENJOY! :)

Now it looks like an s2000. It looks good. Great job, keep getting better. :bg:
But now I spotted one bad thing: The roof is too wide. :scratch:

An update for my first and only "Oh My Lanta" car. With the width of the roof narrowed down. For the pic, it's a self-explanatory.
