Hello. It's time for me to post this already. Started long ago, progressing slowly and here it is - finished.

Few words about each aspect.

Cars
I've inclueded most of important GT cars from about last 10 years. Each car has one (sometimes two) livery and one user-definable.
Pack contains 42 cars with 32 models. They are divided in 3 classes + one special.

Classes
Quite obvious - i've included 3 classes: GT (GT + GT1), GT2 (NGT + GT2) and GT3. Some cars were in other, special classes (G2, G3) when appeared on track, i've added them to class representing similar performance. Cars are competitive inside one group, and the lower class - the slower.
There are also 3 safety cars, they are GT3 specification.

Here is a small timetable camparing the classes. 20 laps, average of best two:

Code: Select all

Track: Yas Marina by Maciej1
GT : 27.33 (Ferrari 575 Maranello)
GT2: 27.77 (Porsche 997)
GT3: 28.34 (Lamborghini Gallardo)
Handling
Well, I think, that some of you may don't like it. At first I wanted to make two specifications: "arcade" and "simulation". I've left the idea later.
I tried to capture the feeling of the real car, which I know from GTR2 game. Cars are bit understeering, you won't be drifting through corners. Ah! And avoid grass and sand. Very low grip on those surfaces!

Soundpacks
There are two versions of soundpacks.
1: GT - Paw has different engine sound for most of the cars.
2: GT Lite - Paw has only one engine sound.

Choose the one which you like more. If you don't like sound of certain car in the full version, simply delete the corresponding .wav file from the folder, and the car will use default sound.

Future
Soon I'll make an night palette. Then I'm going to make second version of all cars in order to use them with this palette.
Maybe I'll also make all 2010 GT1 liveries, maybe Le Mans too.

After watching all the cars carefully, I can only say that the only one that could be better is the Ford GT :( . The rest are just great :o !!!

People like you give people like me less reason to make cars, Paw. There isn't any comparison in quality. I cannot do any better, it's impossible.

Don't say that, Haruna. That exclusive GT pack you send me a couple of days was just EXCELLENT and it has some very rare and cool GTs.

Of course those times are made by AI's?

Cars are briliant, psysics are almost perfect, you're one of my fav carmakers :bg: 5-stars work ofc.

Agree, the physic is very good. Partially reminds me DXTR's touring cars, this cars are very natural on non-tarmac surfaces, realistic values of mass and final acceleration/top speed balance, focus on impression of understeering character. I'll keep this pack somewhere close to them to enjoy them all. :yummy:

Thanks, but you are making nice cars too! And hope to see the pack die996 mentioned.

Thanks! Chibi? Well, maybe, but it wasn't my intention.
ZeroCool wrote:Of course those times are made by AI's?
Yes, I didn't mention it, but cars were driven by level 100 AI.

I don't really know the physics of DXTR's cars, but it's nice that you like it. I was afraid that people might prefer more default formula-like behaviour.

And, it seems, that you like this pack, so... Hmmm... :hiya: ;)

After I'm trying this pack, I'm feeling that I want to make an endurance series of GR Competition...

Great Pack, deserved to win Car of Month :bg:

BTW I noticed only one car, which doesn't look like I would expect completely - gillet vertigo. But not have any ''chibi'' feelings. :D

Thanks for your comments.
Yeah, Gillet Vertigo was a car, that I wasn't really sure how to make it, that why it looks this way.

Okay, as promised, I've made night version. Palette and cars are uploaded to second post. In .zip there are two files: night version with or without custom liveries. Select which one fits you best, but I suggest one without custom paintings, as they don't work good with night palette. Also cars made for new .pal desn't really look good with normal one. And here is shot presenting how does it look like.
