Here is a new tool nobody needs ? :shrug:

If someone wants to drive a 1.10 Track in 1.05 (Win98), just convert it.

Load the 1.10 Track and save as 1.05. If you don't change trackname a '_c' will be added.
Red points on screen show new objects. The tool changes new objects to similar old ones:

road cone - sunk tire
armco barrier - fence
office block (short + small variants) - Office block/Both
telephone pole - light
pedestrian bridge - gate
invisible wall - sunk tire
person - concrete post

at the moment there are less tracks to test, but the default ones work great :wave:

IMHO Concrete Walls would be a better substitute for Invisible walls because i can sense a lot of people will use them for Lmap buildings and having sunk tyres around an Lmap building wouldn't look right. But anyway good job :bg:

I think as the wall is invisible, it should be as well invisible (no object) in v1.05

I'm not sure about the invisible wall. Just notice them in the defaults tracks
for preventing cars jump over the visible wall or into water.
Compensation for small office block isn't optimal too.

Maybe I can add a feature, that will allow each user choose his own objects.... :scratch:

I personally do not think there is a subsitute for a invisible wall, as I would only use it to stop cars flying into spectators, or to stop people cutting chicanes.

Sorry for the bump, but are you planning to release any updates for this tool, majortom?

I think it would be really useful if you would add the option to select which object to convert to other type of objects.. Maybe via a dropbox of all objects, just like in the original TE. You would choose any object A to transform into any object B. :scratch:

I imagine it wouldn't be useful just for transforming 1.10 objects into 1.05 objects, but maybe transforming a whole fir forest into a palm tree jungle for example.. :cool2:

Majortom, you must make Trackconvert v.1.20-->1.05 and v.1.20-->1.10 :shhh:
