[cir] High Speed Ring

Post by Thunderstrucker »

Hey Guys! I am here to show you the newest track I made with my friend RochesterJJ, the Gran Turismo 4 & 5 version of the High Speed Ring.

PS: If someone notice something wrong or weird in the track, tell me that I will fix it.

The track looks good, but when I look closely:

It's high speed ring right? From GT series, right? The first turn should be banked. And you should try to change the PoV... It's not a bad track though, but could be better :)

On my personal note: Durr, these keyboard buttons really hard to press and crap!
Y'all, I just woke up... what did I miss?

When you must /want to use flat bridge on map, don't make rest of layout wider than the bridge. ;) BTW Instead of gates' tunnel I would use series of many perpendicularly rotated bridges to make lower tunnel and with more smooth sides. Many other things could be better, but that you'll get it soon on your own, I believe. :bg:

We don't see your tracks "in a bad way", we are just trying to help you! Remember that you improve with mistakes :bg:

- Try to zoom in as much as possible, I don't like so much that "bird-view"
- Those concrete walls in the pitlane entrance look really dangerous!!!
- Try adding some dithering (Export the landmap in paint and then use the spray tool, using mud or sand or whatever that looks good :) )

Ok, maybe it won't sound very nice, but I'm just trying to help you to improve :D
If you fix these things I will keep giving you advice and tips!

P.S. I also noticed that you're improving!

Whoa! much progress from before :bg: ! of course it isn't best, but you are on a good way! :)
And to give a preview of your new tracks (or let others post suggestions for improvement) you'll best post screens of your new track in Track WIP thread :D

:iagree: We're not saying these stuffs because we don't like your tracks, but we're just helping you to improve time and time again. :bg:

I have to be honest, when I posted my first track, I was so afraid to have the same responses as you had, so I decided to take a peek at the tutorials section and it improved me much.

i think that you didn't played GT5... or any Gran Turismo. And i forgot to inclinate the last haipin  but i am too lazy to do that. if somebody do, i would be thank
PS: the GT5 has REALLY a concrete wall in the entrance of the pitlane. (well, on the truth, it's iron, but the track editor don't have iron wall :compko: )
