[STC] Wilmington GP

Post by LupinIIIFan32 »

A fictional street circuit based on Macau, named for my hometown. My hometown looks nothing like this; the course is more Macau Guia then Wilmington

Hello and welcome here!

Just to say you should always include a screenshot of your track when you release it (press F11 or F12 ingame and it will appear in your sceens folder) :bg:

Yep, G. Marques's tutorial mainly helped me on making a better track :)

Hmap is pretty dangerous in my opinion :o

And you'll have to correct the topic's name.
If you write [STC] it won't be found.
Just edit your first post to [stc] ;)

Actually, I think the letter case doesn't matter - it finds the same threads no matter whether you use caps or not.

[stc] Wilmington GP (version 2)

Post by LupinIIIFan32 »

To respond to some comments made by fellow posters, I have re-released my Wilmington GP circuit. The HMap from the hairpin down has been smoothed out. Also, I have fixed the guardrails, so as to help not launch cars into the water. Finally, I also removed some trees to create better sightlines for users. Thanks to everyone who commented; you have helped edit a better version! Hope you like it!

This track needs a hell of a lot of LMAP work, particularly at the completely empty top part. Have you used rope in track editor? Also, make sure you use external programs, such as paint. And it also helps if the pitlane isn't an afterthought ;) Decent start, however.

:iagree: and make sure you read G. Marques's trackmaking tutorial. It helped a lot of beginners (like me :D), and don't forget to see some other examples from our trackmasters.
