[kar] Budaring

Post by zsoltbartok »

Another gokart track after Gokart Sport Vác, another fullscreen rwl Hungarian circuit. It is fun to make them and I can't stop! :) So here we are:
BUDARING
Details:
-Nice, technical layout, for the original gokart (AI level 100-110 works well).
-You can see it in the photo that in real life the track is a lot wider. I deliberately changed this, as narrow tracks are pure joy. :)
-Yes, it's flat - it's a parking lot after all.
-I didn't use so many sunk tires this time, even though the original track has full tire walls. I couldn't zoom in more and driving is easier this way.
Have fun, try it out, it's total gokart feeling!

very nice track, 8,5\10 points

but 2 things:
1. the track is too narrow for the kart
2. the highway on the right has 3 lines in real pic ;) but thats only half a point

keep going :bg:

Thanks for your comments and for trying it out!
Hey Zegarek, cool observation :sherlock: ! The highway indeed has 3 lanes. But it felt so empty there in the corner (and actually still it is) so I put some double concrete walls on the second broken line.
But being too narrow... Well, partly it's a question of personal taste. My opinion is that the original kart is more fun on narrow, technical tracks with a lot of turns. The kart is slow, and driving it along straights or wide corners is not so exciting. But instead: hairpins, cars touching and pushing each other constantly - this is what I like about the GR kart. Narrow tracks may look difficult to drive on but in fact it is the contrary. ;)
