[stc] El Dragon

Post by Dragon »

Hi, this is my first ever long stc, El Dragon.
In this circuit there are long straights and some changes of pavement in the corners that make the track challenging.
I'm satisfied because I never created a track so long and I think the result is good.
Maybe in next tracks I'll experiment something new but for now have fun ;)
I hope you like it, enjoy and please leave a comment.

What a change from your little WS tracks... I like it but I think it lacks some colors in the top mainly trees and water... (green & blue)

Looks great, pity every corner is either 90 or 180 degrees..

I have to disagree there... maybe half are 90 or 180 :P

Your street tracks are always so good! I just miss some chicanes, I've been thinking when someone will make last chicane of porto style chicane, that would be cool. :D

I just don't like the messy edges of booth sculptures. :(

Thanks all for comments.
@Sutinen: Sorry, but I don't understand what you have said.
@Trigger Happy: Making the sculptures was my biggest problem, I can't make them smooth.
I was thinking to create a short version of this circuit.
Can you give me an advice for a shorter layout?

He was talking about qwish to see a chicane in similar style like chicane on rwl stc in Porto.

Try to be much more patient and carefully rotate the object for very small steps. ;)

I would cut it to right on back-side of the roundabout to s/f straight. :)

I got 2+2 ideas. Nothing special thought.

The red one is just the first part of the track, the dotted option can make nice corner.

The green one creates 2 technical twisty parts. The dotted one omits one, and makes a fast run from top-left to bottom-right.

or alternativly on paw's green layout. turn right just after turn '3' then imidately left heading towards the hairpin, rather than use the 'reddish' area.

its a great track, i agree with ivo about some of the booths, placing objects smoothly is so darn hard :headbang:. and other layouts would be great, but not necessary imo.

i really like it :bg:

It's good, but:
Those booths and also some other objects look not so smooth :iagree:
And those zebra crossings sometimes end at a concrete wall.
But it's masterpiece anyway

Bottom part is fun to drive but the top part is too bare, and it's too slow

This is a perfect track in a sense that I can't think of anything to improve on it. For every little flaw there might be, there's a reason behind it.
The track is narrow; Well it's a street circuit, it's supposed to be. Some of the objects aren't perfectly lined; It's a big WS fullscreen, a battle NO-ONE can win... etc...

Bravo, sir.
