Hello and welcome, friends!

Post by Trigger Happy »

Pity, that RSC is dead. I hope that they save at least anything. :(

But now, we're here and trying to do our best for you and our GeneRally.

Welcome on board, guys! :ghug:

What's equally important:

I hope that James and Hannu are still developing the sourcecode any further!!
Could someone send James an email, and point him to this forum?

From what i've gathered from posts on RSC is that they lost interest, and lost the source code?

I wouldn't put my money on a new version of GR, but you never know ;)

Hey Alonsomania, I know you've been banned from the RSC-forums for a long time, guess you've missed out a few things:

-I sent Hannu an email, regarding the source-code.
-He sent a message back to me, said he found the code and contacted James Burgess from RSC.
-James and Hannu started to work with the code.
-Fans are waiting........that's all I know.

BTW, you don't have to put your money on a new version of GeneRally, you can put it on my bank-account!

I've always kept an eye on the GR section of RSC, so I hope I am at least a bit up to date :P

I know James contacted Hannu, and James got the source, but thats it I guess.

It would be a shame though, it really is a one-of-a-kind game.

Sad to see RSC go, but on the other hand, no january breakdown! :P

This forum has a different forum engine (phpBB3 instead of RSC's vBulletin), and AFAIK this one doesn't include the feature of QuickReply.

Anyway, welcome here, haq! ;) (or should I name you Dan? :D)

Of course, because we should really act like a community this time. I think Buka deserved the moderatorship with his work in the community in the last 4 years. ;) Luke will also become a mod, at the cars section. We're also trying with Ivo to get the ex-RSC staff into the party, too. I hope we will be able to. :bg:

Indeed, in these early days it is a high proportion - but hopefully, it won't stay that way! :D
