How to make cool rally's.

Post by SammieVL »

Hi, im sure you guys know me for making rallys, and now im gonna teach you how to make them!

You need:

1 - LandEditor its ColorPalette.bmp file.
2 - TrackEditor
3 - MS Paint - NOTE: You need a older Windows version than Win7.

Step 1: Go to trackeditor and export the land so you have a base.
Step 2: Then edit the ColorPalette file with MS Paint.
Step 3: Copy it and paste it into the base.
Step 4: Resize it so it is smaller.
Step 5: First, select the mud and then the paint brush.
Step 5 B: For a nice result, first fill the grass with oil. NOTE: first put the grass as the right color!
Step 6: Spray the mud onto the surface.
Step 6 B: Fill the oil with grass. New type of surface!
Step 6 C: Add more different surfaces, like more oil, light tarmac, and border and gravel. Those are pretty good.

Then try expirimenting with the colors.

Step 7: If youre done, save it.
Step 8: Import it with the trackeditor and add some objects, and the usual stuff, AI lines, pits, and stuff like that. NOTE: first add extra surface for pits!

Now your rally track is finished!

I hope you liked this tutorial and i hope youll make good rally tracks.
