Unbelievable. After more than six years, the master has actually made a new track! My last official new track(excluding updates after that) being made all the way back in November 2004.

Not only is this my first(and possibly only) track in more than six years, it's also my longest track in production. There was no use of SnakeDitor to make this, everything you see here; every object placed was 100% pure time consuming, manual labour, every concrete wall placement was carefully measured and tested to ensure drivers can slide smoothly along the edges. Every last detail was made to OCD level perfection. This...thing...was an absolute nightmare, it makes me never want to make another track again.

Anyhow, please let me know what you think. All feedback and suggestions for improvement are welcome.

I really really like this track(s)!!!!

I like a three-dimensional track most. The work to put the Land-map on the H-map has a very very hard time. Very good work is formed into this! And it's also very good that doesn't bump (bug) at the edge in the Flat bridge. Of course, the Land-map is also very great!

Anyway, Lombon is one of the tracks which made me most amazed (atunned)!!

10/5! :bg: :bg: :bg: Yes, it's perfect!!!

EPIC.

E-EPIC
P-lmaP is awesome!
I-Its a-master again!
C-Corners that are all banked!

Really nice track, altough i have a feeling that it is a little too narrow (crashing into the walls everytime, grr).

Id say, 4.90 out of 5.

OMG the amount of skill it took to create those double loops makes this possibly the best thing we will ever see this year next to v1.10.
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Man, it's...
:jawdrop:

One thing that it looks incredibly great, but it also drives so well! The banked sections are really enjoyable - this is a masterpiece!

I must say, that I prefer the reverse version - the technical section seems to be funnier. :)

In the words of Andy Gray: Take a bow son, take a bow!
Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!

IMO Lingotto looks better... but driving there is quite dull.

So, this was the surprise you mentioned :eyes:

I knew that a creative guy like you would shock us with something out of ordinary
Every hour spent on this track was worth it  and I perfectly understand the "nightmare" thing. I had the same feeling when doing my Roulette track

Keep up the good work and please surprise us again :bg:

After a few laps I can say once again that the loops are marvelous. But the bottom part of the track could be much better, because there are only several hairpins and 90-degree corners that doesn't look very good (or at least worse than the upper part). The area at the left is a bit empty and I miss the green colour - trees, grass etc. Excepting that, everything is great.

Thanks for your criticism. I'm curious to know exactly how would you seek to improve the bottom half of the layout if it's just several hairpins and 90-degree corners. When doing the concept of this track I was mainly designing it around the 540 degree loop, and I needed a good way to not only link the track from the end of the loop to the start again, but also fit the starting straight and pit lane in there. I also realise the corners look artificial, but I don't know how else they should look. As for the left being empty, you're going to have to point out to me where eactly 'left' you're talking about, because I don't see anything that's empty here. And for the lack of green, well... this is supposed to be the city center, and these are meant to be streets. I used oil to decorate some of them to create low grip zones.

I see... If you're talking about the mini plaza area just above the empty street, I personally like it the way it is. It has sets of stairs which slope in the direction of the height map(if you open the track editor, you can see the street is on a downward slope.) But out of curiosity, what would you fill in it?

Also, could you answer my other questions as well.

Woah Alex, that's awesome. I've always been a great fan of your tracks, but this one's really something else.

I can really see how it was a pain to create though. I've begun projects like that before, and even if the idea turns out as I want it to, it usually impacts the driveability to such an extent that I won't finish it, because it just isn't worth it. But this one isn't just okay to drive; it's actually quite fun.

When I do crash it's because I'm looking at the scenery!
