[rwl] [stc] Monaco

Post by Halama »

I present to you my new project. Monaco. I know that it is not perfect. Gabor version is the best forever :bg:
The road is wide so you can ride with opponents ;)

Nice track!
I like wide roads. :yummy: Narrow ones are too difficult for AIs and for me to drive.

I'm not a trackmaker, so I can't do anything better,
but let me say two things:
-The home straight should curve more.
-Rascasse corner should be edgier.
These are just my opinions.

Anyway, I have to say again, NICE TRACK!
And keep going to make more rwl tracks!

Good job Halama!

I ran a couple of races on it with my F1 1996, and it raced really well! I think in the case of a track everyone knows, people will pick up on different details. I agree with Ryumi about the curve of the s/f straight, and the 2nd part of Rascasse. and there are a few other tiny things I would have perhaps done differently myself. But otherwise, I'm pretty impressed.

Maybe I'll finish my historic version some day

I just can't say much else than the guys before me: a pretty decent Monaco, with just one or two minor flaws. This version is indeed driveable, however I think I'll keep Gábor Kozma's Monaco still as No.1. (until Maciej will not make a new version from it... :hide:)

Wasn't so good as Kozma's one, but good effort.

The track's kind of flat if you ask me but very well done being as Monaco is practically the hardest track you can model for GR; you know, it's like the creme de la creme of GR [rwl] tracks. So 9/10 from me. :bg:
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Precisely

In terms of this track, they rascasse corner is not tight enough (im not referring to the corner coming to it) and i hate all the hay bales every where. But besides that, when you consider the bench mark your up against you should be very proud of your self.

BTW Has anyone heard from Gabor? Its been years since his last track.
