[rwl] [cir] Salta

Post by Bouncebackability »

Hi

With Black Rebel creating new tracks in South America, he asked me if i would like to create any, so eventually i said i would have a go at Salta.

A few points to bring up, i've put the racing in this direction. most of the videos i watched were like this, but i saw a few photographs of them racing in the other direction too. if anyone can explain this it would be great :really: . Also the HMap, the track is set between some 'mountains'/very high hills, kind of like Okoyama. but i quickly ran out of height difference in GR, so rotated the track so it didnt look so untidy, but sadly its lost some of its effect. And finally, i haven't made every layout possible, just 4, this is because its all i felt was needed.

Hope you enjoy, Comments welcome as ever...

Cheers, BBA!

Another fenomenal circuit from You BBA. I love your style of track shape making. Enviroment is great too. But I don't like balloon - Looks like there is a bad perspective.
My rating: +5/6 ^^

IMHO the Ballon looks great and a nice show of imagination.

Don't worry, BBA, the hmap works lovely. :) It's masterpiece. And to add next opinion about ballon - it looks OK in perspective, I love how it looks, but ... it could be 20% bigger. :D

Trigger, I would say 22% maybe. 20% would still look weird in my eyes... :D

Thanks for all these comments :bg:

Ah yeah, the baloon, it might look a bit out of perspective because I changed the view angle a tiny bit right at the end (something I know I shouldn't do, should do that at the start) but I thought I could still get away with it. Its inclusion was based upon this photo

http://www.panoramio.com/photo/24742424 ... google.com

and i felt it didnt look like a full size hot air balloon, but a smaller one for sponsorship. although actually looking now and comparing it to the size of the truck parked next to it, maybe it should have been bigger

:ballons:

p.s. the code for the balloon smilie above is spelt wrong 'ballons'?

Yep, I meant the same little problem with balloon as you told. Anyway it looks still great ;) And the size is perfect, for me it looks like a real big balloon ^^
