[rwl] [cir] Nurburgring Nordschleife

Post by CamrosX »

Here it is, a massive undertaking.
Pretty much took a couple days to complete, tried to get every detail down to a pixel.
Two Versions;
A regular version and a "hard" version where the sunk tires are moved on the kerbs making the turns tighter.
Not much to say about the worlds greatest race-circuit :D

Enjoy!!

Good work, CamrosX! Isn't top-quality in visual, but is the first driveable Nordschleife IMO.
Nice! 4.5/5

:wow: just like how it is in GT4! Even down to the road markings and karussell. You get a :tom: nomination from me. :cool2:

Looks good, but the layout isn't right at some points.

Classic way to make a track: deform it a bit to turn it more beautiful. Gábor Kozma made the same thing on his Monaco, and i'm making it also on mine.

I must say, that I liked more how you were making forests in past than the forests in couple of your latest tracks. Anyway, this is respectable effort. :hattip:

It's good, but I like Halama's version than you. :)

In fact, I like both versions of the Nordschleife. I prefer Halama's version for scenery, and I prefer this version for driveability. And although you have to deform it a bit to make it drivable, it still captures the original nature of the Nordschleife. Well done. :)

This is very well done, the name by the way is Nordschleife, you got the e and i mixed up.
The prob with long real life tracks like this is that they are almost undriveable in GR because of the zoom limitation, this one is actually better but still I don't know if GR is the right platform for this kind of track

I'm not sure about the pits; I'd rather have 3, even 2 pits in the real-life location than to have them somewhere that looks, IMO, weird and unrealistic. Other than that, the track looks great.
I like short, simple signatures!

Also the pit lane does look a bit rushed. In GT4 the pit lane has a seperate slip road that goes on for quite a while before you arrive at the pits. On this track it's just a wide road that starts at the stop/finish straight.
