And you know, Phil Hill won the title at this year, but you shouldn't forget that he died due to the Parkinson's Disease in 2008. :rip:
Blimey, that one went by rather quietly. Had no idea at all. :o

Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!

Rest in peace, Dan. From now on you can race only on racetracks in heaven, among with Senna, Fangio, and the rest of them...

I was just woke up and was preparing for school when I found out the news about Dan Wheldon's death. Absolutely gutted. Thoughts goes to his family.

Here's a good song I found a few years ago. Sharing it here as a tribute to drivers who passed away this year, and also to all drivers who died doing what they loved.

Please reflect them in your minds while listening to it.

Horrible, horrible accident for Wheldon, and one that is almost impossible to prevent happening again in open wheelers, particularly on ovals. :(

Have to say, that fence they use there. It's a stupid thing.

R.I.P. Marco. I saw the accident live, but the cameras didn't show exactly how that happened...maybe that's better. :worried:

When it is fragmented by forces effecting on it. :?

He certainly was a crash kid and already gave himself enough warnings to start to drive with ratio, but he made in past more stupid/dangerous things than this time. What a pity. :worried: Also we lost a future MotoGP champion, I believe.

It's so sad. :weep: RIP Marco, we'll never forget you. :rip: So young, so talented and so promising guy! Death always chooses the best. What an awfully black week for motorsport, damn I hate this.

And how bad should Edwards and Rossi feel now, even though they couldn't avoid this...

EDIT: He was younger than me!
