Hope it's not too bad if I will upload my cars in ~45 minutes  :?

EDIT: So, here it is. The final pack, including the onewheeler (I also tweaked the truck and the Kart a little bit). Later that day I'll upload a decent picture and link each posts to this one. Anyway, Happy new year :wiz:

Talk about last minute rush hour! With this many cars I feel the polls could go in any direction, come voting time.

XYY, as anal as it might sound, I cannot accept that OneWheeler, or any cars that were updated or released in that pack. It was released after the deadline (which was given in GMT).

Right, from now I shall work on compiling the packs and screenshots and such, hopefully I should have that ready early tomorrow.

Jeez, Luke. Exactly what harm can be done by allowing XYY's car pack in? You yourself had to take a couple days away before compiling, so what stretch is 45 minutes? Him uploading it sooner wasn't going to make the project run faster. It's here already, so we might as well use it.

I know I'm too late and yes, I should have also made it earlier before :vsad: But take a look at the track update. Nothing happend there for a long time, and it's even 2010 project.
When I made my Onewheeler, I didn't think that it's so bad to cross the deadline by 40 minutes. If I knew that, I wouldn't have made it at all. I tried to get out of the silvester rush asap, but I couldn't really leave them for just making a GR car.
After all, it's your decision of course, but you may be so kind and allow this car for the project. :|

Even if Luke is right literally, I also hope in reverting that call, it's really nice piece and 40 mins are nothing with comparison of months, which this project takes already.

ACM, I could not help my going away for a few days. That said, I have decided to reverse my decision.

@XYY: Which vehicles were updated in this pack?

Thumb up, Luke.

BTW I agree with ACM, the election will be really interesting (also hopefully based on lot of votes :yummy: ). I'm quite happy how the submissions ended by numbers, in more than half of cars here's enough stuff to fill whole grid by 6 individual models :goodvibes: and also that almost all the cars is quite bugless stuff. :bsmile: Even if I'd like to see few more people in and also I was looking forward to few booked but not submitted cars (like Mr.J's general or 2 cars of 3 booked by Krisu). If you're interested in by a coincidence, here's small comparison of past and current project (in brackets number of persons taking a part, if was different from no of submitted models):
Now Previously
General 6 7
Formula 6 7
Go-Kart 5 4
Mini 7 (6) 5
Truck 5 4
McTurbo 4 6
Triangle 7 4
Yankee 6 4
Onewheeler 4 4
Monster Truck 7 (5) 5
Sidamob 4 2
Rallycar 7 5
Sum 68 (9) 57 (13)
Sorry if this is a wrong place to post, but...

Is the head moved in X-way (from 0 X) in the Genetleman's buggy-like Rallycar? Just because head movement, be it Z or X way, affects the physics/handling.
And to keep the handling as original as possible (I think this is kind of a rule, written or not, as well) :really: And the same goes for tires.

Just being curious.

EDIT: Ah, seems that this's been moved to the right place, thanks.
My latest creation: F-Astor Junior

I know only that I do not know

Long live speed, thrash, death, black and doom metal without forgetting grindcore!

Both past and current projects allowed moving by heads freely ... likely to support creativity of carmakers. In the past one the guys even could resize the wheels or use other colour than blue for windshields, so this project is actually more strict in rules than its inspiration. :)

Anyway, I don't think there should be any more comments posted in this thread now, since signup and releasing is complete?

You're right, later for further discussion out of discussing the submissions themselves we should likely bump the discussion thread again. But I'd not lock it this topic, technically people still can submit their models, they only cannot take a part in the election anymore.

Edit: discussion about pics moved to discussion thread.
