[cir] Bakiwa (by Sergey & Emil)

Post by Emil Patanen »

Here is my latest release. The track was started by Sergey, who abandoned it over a year ago. A week ago I remembered that this so far great looking track hadn't still been finished, so I thought that I could do something for it. Now it is fully finished and ready for racing :greenfg:

I hope you will enjoy it and like, how it is looking now :)

I feel like this track doesn't know what it wants to be, part looks like very modern racing circuit, the other part looks like countryside almost road circuit.
Last two corners have nice runoffs but the corner before has a dangerous pond instead of safe runoff.
I mean all parts look good on their own but as a whole track .
But that's not your fault, I see in WIP thread that most of that was already there :).
Actually all you've done with this track looks cool :D.
I'd also give the natural stand different lmap texture, now it's the same as runoff and that's confusing to me.
Interesting layout and nice hmap give a nice gameplay any way :). I don't want to sound nitpicky, I just had these ideas in my mind.

I also can imagine a wall in style of upper part in bottom-right.

Anyway, good job by you both! Thanks Emil for finishing it nicely!

Do you mean the wall made of hay bales and lights?

Yes, I'm not sure, if there's enough place for wall-haybale-light in bottom and this may be an option softening (but not eliminating) the double-characteristic between advanced and road/retro moods at various places. :)
