[cir] Tropic Isle

Post by Emil Patanen »

Good evening, everyone :hattip: Today it's been exactly 3 years since I released my first track. To celebrate the anniversary, I decided to make a new track :bday: Also, this track is my 40th release (if I counted right) :shhh:

The track is pretty quickly made, because JE track was requiring quite a lot of time, so I had only few hours left for making this. I decided to make a simple circuit that is located on a tropic isle. The track is meant to look like it could be from some kind of an old arcade racing game.

In the zip there is different tracks for normal and wide screens.

Hopefully you'll like it and also leave in some comments :)

The AI line has been designed for original Formula.

Or it could resemble some Mario Kart-themed circuit imo. Not bad, I would say as for the track. :bg:

You should be right. :)

Off-topic: You really ought to update your TrackDB link on your signature as well as your Folks without website post. That would be appreciated.

Did you really check if I counted right? Anyway, I updated the link in my sig and post in Fulks without wedsite thread (JE participations still need to be added there, though). As being a statistics lover, I also compiled a little statistic about tags, with which I have marked my releases, to give some perspective in my trackmaking career:
[list]
[cir] tag has been given to 17 of my releases
[ral] tag has been given to 10 of my releases
[oth] tag has been given to 6 of my releases
[stc] tag has been given to 5 of my releases
[stu] tag has been given to 4 of my releases
[mic] tag has been given to 4 of my releases
[tpk] tag has been given to 3 of my releases
[roa] tag has been given to 2 of my releases
[ovl] tag has been given to 2 of my releases
[kar] tag has been given to 1 of my releases
[evo] tag has been given to 1 of my releases
[/list]

[rwl] and [wat] tags has never been given to any of my tracks. This situation surely has to be fixed one day ;) Also, [stg] has been never given to any track of mine, although Nigemy has a stage layout also available.
Also, I noticed that I have never released anything in June or in November.

I think the pit AI should be the other way around, because like that you are kinda penalizing the other racers, because if you go the other way around, it counts too, and you get a great advantage! Beside that, pretty good track
