[cir] Akanthos

Post by Darjo »

Hello there, I haven't been posting tracks for a while I think, so here's a new one. I experimented a bit with textures and the new objects (I actually didn't do much trackmaking after GR 1.10 came out :| ) and I think it came out pretty decent. I am a little concerned about the AI line since I am not sure if it's challenging enough for you guys, and it's probably not good for some types of carpacks. I was also a bit concerned about people using different resolutions when playing tracks so I tried to make the view angle so it looks acceptable in any kind of resolution :bg:
The grass kerbs are pretty badass IMO
Feel free to edit and repost this track as long as you give me the credit. You may also use my flabbergasting textures in your own tracks.

Have fun :pumpkin:

The only thing I have to criticise (gameplay wise) is the well hidden stone inside the 2nd corner... :shhh:
AI was good enough for me ;)

:sorry: I actually didn't realize people would not notice the sunk tires behind that fir tree. I guess I just knew they were there and didn't think it would be a problem for other people

Thanks for the nice words guys :bsmile:

That is one of the best-looking tracks I've ever seen, the lmap is truly phenomenal. Driving it isn't quite that great though, the hairpin and the chicane are good, but the first and last corners of the track are quite uninteresting.

Indeed, the layout lacks a tad of variety, otherwise it looks quite superb.
