After the death of GT1 and GT2 in most national competitions, GT3 became the new set of rules for nearly all of the modern pro-am and amateur sports car racing leagues around the world. With over 20 series around the world using FIA's GT3 regulations or nationally modified variants of these rules, the GT3 has a monumental variety of cars competing under these rules from 15 major manufacturers and a host of tuning companies and racing teams.

These cars have all been competitively balanced and are usually within only a few tenths of each other on most medium and large world-size circuits.

Recommended Settings...
...for endurance:
Tire Wear: 1%
Fuel Consumption: 3%
Fuel Mass: 80 kg
Damage: 30 to 70%
Distance: 30 to 50 kilometers or 15 to 30 minutes

...for sprint:
Tire Wear: 3%
Fuel Consumption: 7%
Fuel Mass: 60 kg
Damage: 25 to 70%
Distance: 10 km or 5 minutes

The Cars:
Aston Martin DBRS9 GT3: The imouto of Aston-Martin Racing's Le Mans GT1 class contender is almost every bit as badass as her bigger brother. With a 550 hp V12 detuned from GT1 specs, a huge rear wing, and a lean weight of 1250 kg, it's a great all-rounder. PI: A/731

Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3: As the new contender from the British grand touring car manufacturer, this car is a bit more powerful than its predecessor, with an extra 20 horsepower on tap at the cost of an additional 10 kg and poorer downforce figures. PI: A/731

Audi R8 LMS ultra (R16): Much like the Le Mans Prototype that it shares absolutely nothing in common with, the Audi R8 LMS ultra is indeed quite the ultimate race car. It has a powerful 570 hp engine and a remarkably lean chassis, but iffy aerodynamics mean that this car can be a bit tough to handle at speed. PI: A/731

BMW Z4 GT3 (E89): The go-to car for all Vocaloid lovers. Despite that fact, this car has been raced to numerous championship victories in Europe and Japan alike. It has great cornering characteristics but is slightly slow down long straights. PI: A/731

Callaway Competition Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06-R GT3: As a staple of the modern GT racing scene, it was only a matter of time before the Corvette invaded the now globally popular GT3 class. It's very well rounded, but its exceptionally well-balanced handling is probably its strongest selling point. PI: A/731

Sareni United Chevrolet Camaro GT3: With a 650 hp motor ripped right from the Le Mans and ALMS-winning Chevrolet C6.R GT1, it's no wonder why this car is such a monster down the straights. Despite being stable, however, this car is the heaviest of its class, and will let you know it. PI: A/730

(Dodge) SRT Viper GT3-R: This car is no stranger to high-speed competition, and its 640 hp, 8 liter V10 is the largest motor on the grid. Despite a 10 horsepower disadvantage against the most powerful car in its class, the Viper is a faster sprinter down the straights thanks to lower weight; but remember that winning the battle in the corners is a lost cause. As of revision 1, however, that loss is nowhere near as egregious as before. PI: A/731

Dodge Viper Competition Coupe: As the predecessor to the SRT Viper, this car is a remarkably different beast. It sacrifices much of its raw power (100 horsepower of it to be exact) in turn for far more grip at both high and low speeds. PI: A/730

Einzbern Signature Flat-6 "Irisviel" (I7) GT3 Grail: Originally developed for the one-make Signature Holy Grail Races, "Iri" is popular with privateer teams in numerous national GT series all around the world. Compared to her FIA GT3-specific variant, she's far more docile in corners. Don't try to win in a power struggle though, you'll be sadder than Satsuki Yumizuka. PI: A/731

Einzbern Signature Flat-6 "Irisviel" (I7) GT3-R: This German sports car has been a staple of endurance racing for decades, making it only a very logical choice in the category. As the only rear-engine car in the pack, "Iri" packs impressive amounts of grip and is extremely agile, but don't expect her to win any drag races. As of revision 1 you still shouldn't expect her to win drag races, but Iri is a bit more powerful now. PI: A/731

Fate TH58 Scuderia R3: As the logical evolution up from the Fate TR 3-Zero R3, this next-generation mid-ship V8 racing sports car from the Italian supercar manufacturer is quite a sprinter, and has very agile - if rather slippery, handling. PI: A/731

Fate TR 3-ZERO R3: Although not quite like a wine, this car is a great, well-rounded drive despite being one of the older contenders on display. One aspect does stand out; its cornering is exceptionally responsive and thus requires a somewhat delicate touch. PI: A/731

Matech Ford GT GT3: Developed by the Swiss Matech racing team, the GT GT3 (wtf?) is an excellent sprinter, much like the Fate TH58. Careful though; this car is even more unruly than its Italian rival. Especially watch out at high speeds with this car, as of revision 1 this car has had a downforce reduction. PI: A/731

Ford Mustang Marc VDS GT3: This equestrian thoroughbred has been upgraded to a slayer of supercars. Although it is quite front-heavy, this car has excellent power, speed, and grip; but you must be careful picking your line lest you slide wide into sand... or worse, the walls. PI: A/731

Lamborghini Gallardo LP600 GT3 FL-II: Don't be fooled by the giant air dam and rear wing. This car slashes through air better than a sword through butter, and has a power-to-weight ratio that would make the American contenders consider it an honorable opponent. Be warned, however; its grip is atrocious, making even pro drivers look like Irisviel von Einzbern or Yukari Tanizaki on a very bad day. PI: A/731

Mazda RX-8 Grand Am GT: Although not really at all a GT3 car, this tube-frame cosplayer from Riley Technologies and Speedsource is a tough fighter in the corners. Despite packing a turbo'd three-rotor motor, it is hopeless down the straights, being outrun by even the Nismo GT-R GT3 down the straights. PI: A/730

McLaren MP4-12C GT3: This car may be more anemic than Patchouli Knowledge; but with a tiny drag coefficient beaten only by the Fate TH58 R3 and a great-handling chassis, it's solid proof that control isn't just better than power, it IS power. PI: A/731

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3: Despite being tied with the Camaro GT3 for heaviest in class, this car has great grip, well-balanced aerodynamics, and a healthy amount of power. However, this German heavyweight is exactly what it is, so expect to struggle for wins on the really tight circuits. PI: A/730

Nismo GT-R GT3 (R35): The next-generation Godzilla has made its appearance in the GT3 class! With a huge front splitter and rear wing, this car boasts a great downforce-to-mass ratio, giving it phenomenal grip even without the GT-R's sophisticated all-wheel-drive systems. But this car loses out in a drag race to just about every other car; a sorry sight to behold on long straights. PI: A/731

Why have you done a file for each car ? This is really unconvenient. :worried:

Hello, drivers!

The pack has been updated with some minor bug fixes, but more importantly, I've addressed some competitive balancing issues in this "patch". The new versions of these cars has been tagged [r1] to indicate a revision to the cars, to prevent incompatibility issues with existing packs and replays. Einzbern Signature Flat-6 "Irisviel" GT3-R (I7)
+15 horsepower, Balance -0.01, -1 m/s max speed, new PI: A/731
While I've made it explicit that the intention behind Iri's spec was to provide a highly responsive and traction-focused car, the original car's specifications resulted in a car that was too slow to capitalize on any handling advantages it had. So the power has been increased to improve straight-line competitiveness without pushing Iri too far out of her niche. In addition, the balance has also been very slightly reduced to smooth off a little roughness in the handling.

SRT Viper GT3-R
+0.04 air resistance, +8.8% downforce, -2 m/s max speed
Even though it shares title of "Best power to weight ratio" with the Camaro GT.R and is yet lighter, that was no excuse for the GT3-R's completely abysmal performance on the majority of circuits. It badly needed a downforce adjustment, as the car simply couldn't keep up with any of the other cars once it got into a corner.

Matech Ford GT GT3
+0.02 balance, +0.11 air resistance, -4% downforce, bug fix: Oil slowdown no longer 1.97, +2 m/s max speed
These adjustments were done to address some balance concerns with this car pointed out by Trigger Happy before the Macau Grand Prix 2013 event occurred. I felt the car was a bit too good at "everything", so the most significant change here is the downforce reduction; this car should be a little easier to keep up with in the corners. This car also has additional air resistance to reduce its ability to extend gaps over long straights.
