Track of the Month - August 2010 (results released)

Post by Buka »

Hello, everyone  .

This is the thread where you may nominate tracks released in August 2010 for the ToM election. The tracks will then be posted on the Nominees page of ToM website.

Note: Please keep this thread just for nominations, all of the discussion should take place in the discussion thread. One nomination per each track is enough. Posting other stuff than nominations in this thread is likely to be deleted by an moderator to keep everything as clean as possible. Thanks.

When you nominate you have to mention the track name, the author(s) and the link to the thread/post, but please never edit your nomination posts, as your changes could be overlooked.

Example: Mirabelle by Trigger Happy - thread

Please read the the rules if you haven't read them so far.

Fine, nomination period is over so let's choose the best tracks of August. Just look through the nominees list, that you can see here and choose your prefered tracks up to five.

Every votes are important and more there are better it'll be. :ghug: If you disagree, don't understand or want to change something, just tell it in the discussion thread. We are here for you.

ToM August results online! :heyea:
1) Bro's Hatch by AleksiNir - Forum thread
2) High Speed Ring by Otto Wilson - Forum thread
2) Spa-Francorchamps by Maciej1 - Forum thread

detailed results
The second ToM for AleksiNir this year. His Bro’s Hatch has solid advantage. The rest of tracks were really close!

Thanks to all 31 voters! Keep on voting. :bg:

PS. What is very strange is that Bro’s Hatch has only ~30 downloads while High Speed Ring and Spa more than 100. And the strangest thing is that Pardubice got 8 votes with only 6 downloads. :D

It's related to updates of the zip files. E.g. I updated readme in Pardubice's zip after 77 downloads. Aleksi updated his track after almost week too (sunk tyres on start of pits IIRC). ;)

And big congrats to podium masterpieces. :bg:

Finally thanks a lot to all, who voted the Pardubice and Agari. I'm very happy from the positions. :happythanks:

No, it's OK, Buka. Without a rational explanation it would be really very suspicious (at least in Pardubice's case). Your question on it was necessary.

But most funny is, that we both (Aleksi and me too) wrote there notes about the updates immediately after updates - it's written about inch above each of the particular zip files in both cases, so you're really probably getting old (or your boss push too much work on you). :D
