Thank you guys for the 1.10b version, it means a lot to know that the game is undergoing constant development. The most important feature for me is the zoom tool, can't wait to test it.

Great job!

It's not a "tool". If you're using a screen ratio that's 4:3, you'll see no difference - but if you're using another screen ratio, zoom will be adjusted to compensate for the change in dimensions. What this means is that if someone creates a track as full-screen in 4:3 ratio, it should be approximately full-screen in 16:9 and 16:10 - and vice versa.

Thanks for explanation. What about this:
"Rendering distance increased to solve bug on some higher resolutions."
What it means "in practice"?

Sometimes, on high resolutions part of the track was cut, this one which was far away. Now it should show full track.

No, sorry. We made a unanimous decision to change the armco colour and it will remain the same for the foreseeable future.

Forseeable future would basically be until more colours were available I would presume?

I agree the armco looks a bit ungainly but why complain if we get a new version for a 9 year old game.

Thanks a lot guys. :drink:

I'm also of the sentiment that the old armco was better. It may have been harder to see, but that was just a challenge for track makers to use it situationally in places where it was best visible. This one is just too glaring and sticks out against the rest of the track.

That point is perhaps valid for fictional tracks, but for real-world tracks where you don't have that choice, this colour is better. Not convinced entirely by it being light blue (I'd pick a darker blue or oil's black), but it's better.

About the menu screen.

I prefer the former scrolling action of list boxes.
In 1.05 when I click and hold the +/- button in scroll bar, the list scrolls automatically, but in 1.10 it doesn't work so.

And I don't like the deadspace below.
(See the pic. My screen resolution is 1280*1024)

I realise I forgot to say thanks for version 1.10. Windowed mode is a godsend. Making my previous track was a pain because I constantly had to alt in and out of the game to make little changes, messing up my screen resolution in the process. No longer is this the case. Now However, I've been given another problem.

I would like to know; how do I configure either my GeneRally, or computer so that it sorts tracks, drivers and car files by alphabetical order? I notice this is only a problem some users have and others don't. Is it even possible to do this? I know version 1.05 already did this for me.

We're working on a fix - we fix it on one set of machines, it breaks on another. It shouldn't really happen, as we're using the operating system's file functions... but, well, stay tuned :)

Could you make the auto zoom function optional for the next version?
