Lagging after new drivers

Well I was trying to make the 1.10 stop lagging so I updated my graphics drivers. (time for that anyways)
But with the new drivers 1.05 was also heavily lagging. I downgraded the drivers but the problem is still there. I can play bfbc2 without problems but not GR.
Have you got any tips or suggestions on what to do.

Buka solves similar problems usually by fresh install of Wins, if I noticed well.
