Survival, but it's kind of pointless to me because I mainly play with Peaceful mode on, except when I need gunpowder.
EDIT: yeah, I finally got my friends' permission to use his copy of Minecraft. I'm cheap.

I've found lots of these with iron and diamonds (and some gold, which is almost useless due by weak tools) under them.

It was a sad day yesterday in Minecraft when my first Diamond Pickaxe finally died. I dropped the battered tool into a hole then filled it up with dirt, giving it a dignified burial.

I only ever use it to get water blocks, if lava happens to come in. Once I have enough water blocks, I update the game to get rid of it so I can continue mining.

Since there are so many Minecraft related posts in this thread, maybe you guys should start a dedicated Minecraft thread.

It really isn't worth it IMHO.

I think it is, like 2/3 of the posts here are Minecraft related. There are some threads for specific games that got less discussion too.

My first post in ~2 months

Today I joined in to Crono's Minecraft server. He and other PGR friends made amazing buildings, and I went to his tree farm in the cellar/basement of his house.

First, I farmed trees with one of his diamond axes (he's got diamond pickaxes and diamond shovels, too). Then, I discovered that there's also a PGR 'headquarter'. But suddenly, the aggressive mobs came. A skeleton attacked and hurt me in the PGR headquarter, and spiders attacked me outside. Even a creeper came and the attacks seriously injured me! But fourtunately I could get rid of these ******* and I felt better.
And finally, before I disconnected to the server, I saw two creepers who dropped into a very deep chasm. This chasm could be a mob trap.

And when I play Minecraft beta 1.8 not in peaceful mod, I'll be scared of Endermens, because these are IMHO even more dangerous than creepers! Spiders also look and sound scary.

Well, according to Minecraft Wiki, Endermen are non-hostile until you aim a weapon at them. And BTW, could we get a few screenshots of some of the PGR servers' buildings?

Ralfmich and I worked on another mob trap under the ground. The trap contains water and lava and Ralf found Lapis Lazuli and diamonds. I'll post more pics tomorrow or next week.

Ah, it had to be more than one because that's too much damage for a single creeper to deal.

Can somebody recommend me a good Minecraft Hamachi server? I like to play MC in Multiplayer mode, and not only always the same server.

EDIT: It isn't necessary anymore to answer this question, I'm satisfied of only one server.

I'd like to play Minecraft with the GRIF members, would be nice.

I really wanna play with Alex, you and the other guys who have Minecraft.....
