I decided to open a discussion topic about Grand Tour Trophy 2012, 2nd season in my competition Grand Tour Trophy.

What's new in Season 2012?
1. Calendar: Click here. Season will start in February/March 2012.
2. In new season there will be probably two types of tires.
3. There will be qualifying session and starting from random positions in race.
4. There will be still used GT Cars by Paw, but this times there will be GT1 Cars (Aston Martin, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Nissan, Saleen)
5. One weekend (Qualifying+Race) will be once for two weeks and there will be vacation break.
6. Competition with(out) LS?

My opinion:
1. Calender looks promising. Although I would (and this is only my personal preference) like two USA and two australian races even more than double spanish/uk/germany GP
2. I Don't care.
3. Why do we make a qualifying then?
4. Okay.
5. I don't get what you intend to say with "One weekend will be once for two weeks".
6. not so important for me, I think I would prefer with LS

I wanted to say that I'm going to make one week break before every race.

BTW I'm going to make two test races with qualifying session. I don't promise that it will be with LS, but I'm still working for LS.

30 weeks from start to end of season?

Last season dragged on for way too long. Get rid of some of the venues and keep only one GP per involved country.

Season is long my proposition 8-12 race.

OK, there are new propositions for Season 2012:

1. There will be 15 races, without qualifying session. One race for week, season will start in February/March with small break (1st-8th April 2012)
2. No random types of tyres. (but which grip/lose value for tarmac?)
3. Race distance - 10km/12km?

I do appreciate the idea of a qualifying, but with 15 races it will be too long, I'm afraid Maybe reduce number of tracks to 8 (or sth) and then with Qualifying?

But which races should I delete? Maybe Silverstone, Hockenheim and Jarama? There will be a rule one country, one race.

Then you also need to make e.g. a New Zealand GP No, I'd be totally fine if you took off these three

In this season there will be 12 rounds and there will be Qualifying Session and Race.
If you'll be 1st in qualifying session, you'll start from 1st position in race, if you'll be 2nd in qualifying session, you'll start from 2nd position in race, if you'll be 3rd in qualifying session, you'll start from 3rd position in race, etc.

To join this competition you must write in this topic:

-nickname
-nationality
-number (#4-#999) - yes, you can start with three-digit numbers!
-car
-team name

VERY IMPORTANT!
-Numbers 1, 2 and 3 are reserved for TOP3 drivers from previous season (Reh, Mszostus and Gzehoo), but they don't must use it!
-In one team there can be 3 drivers, but only 2 better drivers in race collect points to teams classification!
-TOP3 Teams from previous season (planetgenerally.de, GRPL Team, Lambda Motosports) can have only two drivers!
-You can use whichever car colors you want!

After race you must send replay (.gam) with screen (.bmp) in pack (.rar or .zip). You must send your pack on this e-mail --> gzehoo92@gmail.com
