What he said. The kerbs should be inside of the asphalt, and they should have a regular pattern. They look bad in their current state. The layout does look interesting, need more scenery and details to make it less boring though.

Try to use snake editor for walls and kerbs (are still bad).

Much better but red walls isn't good idea.

Kerbs should be inside tarmac (Puttz said this earlier)
Replace blocks from pitlane to booths.

Check tracks made by best trackmakers. This should be a role model.

Edit: This is not 75% ready. Only 20% if You want make good track.

I don't think the red walls are so bad on this one. People automatically assume "red walls=bad." It can be the case if people put them all over, but as they are now I think they are alright. You might want to extend the sand trap further around that one corner, and put sand traps around more corners. Still need more walls (concrete or armco) around the track.

I don't quite like how the track is fitted into the map right now, you've left too much space at the top and the bottom (compared to the sides) - I think that zooming in, so that these map borders won't visible, should improve the overall look - you'd probably need to move the track a few pixels to the bottom to make it look fine, though.

The layout is too simplistic IMO. And I sincerely hope that you've heard our advices.

PS: IMO clockwise the track will be better

I don't think that simplicity is a problem, it looks very neat (and reminds me Lime Rock Park a bit). Current racing direction also is ok and I don't think that reversing would improve anything. The problem is that the road is too wide, I think that you should decrease world size.

Pit lane is IMO too far from the layout, it doesn't look good this way, it'd be better if you made it a bit closer to the start-finish straight. Also, the whole track could be moved a bit to the left to equalize the distance between the track and the map borders.

You definitely need to rethink those barriers. They look silly right now, with or without sand and are kind of unsafe, too.

This reminds me of the short version of the old Hockenheim. Not the same layout, but it's similar to that short version.

It also does resemble the current Hockenheim. However those circled barrers were not fixed
