Thanks for both of your inputs guys :D

Let's see.. I'll try to separate the same stages to reduce the number of stages.

EDIT: BTW you guys at ADAC Rallye Deutschland did 16-18 stages per week. These packs contains only 13-15 stages. And most of them are different :shhh:

just to say that you can also choose only 3-4 best stages from whole rallye and put them into one login (1 login - 1 rallye) to not make that compo ridiculously long/big and it would make more diversity between stages

Ok, I'll try.

Unfortunately I don't have a website and I can't be bothered to make one (also it's a hotlap challenge) so it won't have any login system. :shake:

Login system isn´t that hard to use, I´m not expert in making websites and I´ve never made one :D but I hope that somone can help you with hosting login ;-).

It is quite necessary because it takes much more time to practice for non-login compo than for login :2c:

And there comes a conclusion.

I'll use only one trackpack per season for now.

Maybe I'll try for the login system :headbang:

Bad idea, last time that was on it flopped, even before DXTR started having issues with his PC. ;)

A nation-based competition would be a good idea, however not A1GP, as it's already closed its doors. And actually, as Luke pointed you, even I and James C. was also trying to run that competition, with not that much success.

The forum has just returned to life from its ashes. I say we should wait a bit and than the number of the drivers will be sufficient again for the old big compoes. This year is about - I think - the returning. We cannot shine with full light in dawn time, can we? :D

Is anyone going to start a non-championship event with random carpacks & tracks? Because I'm about to start one.

I'm about to start a compo too but I need some help because my internet in the summer is not the best for managing and my time is't enough too. But of course I will work hard on "my" compo too.

The idea is: Vuvuzela Challange of South Africa [HL/TT/Race] for the honor of the FIFA World Cup '10
~ The compo will be ran on South African RWL tracks
~ Each rounds will be past two weaks on one track
~ The first week is for a hotlap and for a time trial
~ The second week is for a race
~ The races' grids will be consisted on the first week's results: the best lap of the hotlap will be added to the time trial's time. (The fastest gets the better position on the grid).
~ The competitiors will use formula cars (haven't decided yet, which one).

I have permissions for cars, only the tracks missing yet. Point system and settings will be decided later. Login files and maybe a website are needed (website can may be created by me).
If anyone interested, please PM me, reply my post or write me on MSN (maddog.bs :shhh: hotmail.com)

Hehe! Thank you ;)
But my greatest problem is the login files. I've never ever used 'em before. Can someone help me?
And the other big problem is to restore and make them permitted for me. Durban is okay, but there is Kyalalmy, Welkom, etc. (as there is anything what can the etc. deputize  ). But I think I can get the tracks too.

Some ideas for new competitions

AMERICAN MUSCLECAR MASTERS
Cars: Mustang and Camaro with specs similar to the ones used by DTM (maybe a little bit more powerful, a little bit heavier, a little bit more loose and with less grip).
Tracks: real tracks from USA (6 rounds), Canada (2 rounds) and Mexico (1 round).
Format: 12-15 minute races with 2 mandatory pitstops
Deadlines: rounds will be posted 24-36h before deadline so people don't practice A LOT.

HOT HATCH LEAGUE
Cars: hathcbacks with S2000 regulations.
Tracks: real tracks from the hottest tracks in the World (Oceania, Africa, South America, southern Europe, southern USA and Mexico).
Format: 10-minute race with no pitstop and 15-minute race with a mandatory FULL (cannot leave till work is done) pitstop.
Deadlines: same as AMM.

INTERNATIONAL DIRTY SERIES
Cars: TBA (rallycross premium-class cars or classic American muscle cars).
Tracks: fictional tracks (gravel, mud, snow, etc.).
Format: hotlap qualifying, semifinals (5'), last chance qualifier (3') and main event (10').
Deadlines: 24h for qualifying and 16h for the rest.

Btw, these ideas are here only to check if there's anyone interested. I need permissions and maybe even some specific new cars (for AMM and IDS).
Whether you're interested or not, post why.
It's pretty annoying to be ignored

because we have a drift competition?

and if we do a competition of D1GP (drift), but would have to figure out some way to do it, we could use the cars and some tracks suntinen drift
