Well... I can say I'm very happy because yesterday there was new record in attendance during the Race in Grand Tour Trophy - 12 drivers in one race, but only TOP10 with points.

-FRUKIScze - wrong distance (8km instead of 10km), no screen - you're not in replays; today there is only reprimand (First Reprimand Rule in my compo), but next time you'll get DSQ for that. Anyway, if I gave you DSQ, it wouldn't change anything because you won't get any points in this race

Oops. I had the fuel setting stuck in my head as 65kg That'll teach me to double check my settings against the rules. Not that it really mattered this time because I su ked anyway...

Sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to send the files faster than I did this time.

In the login window I normally do the following things:
- download files and copy into the right folder
- start generally, create a savegame for the start
- check & set start positions and times (SavegameReader)
- start generally and race
- quit generally, select the files and zip them
- login to the mail account, upload and send the files (earlier I did the mail thing before logging in for the race to save time until Generally crashed once due to an update window or sth like that during a race)

Now, one could say I should skip the SavegameReader thing to save the 36 seconds it took too long. I have to say I tried to be fast this time and normally the timing isn't that stressful.
Which time do you use for your evaluation, the actual race time or the lenght of the replay? Please don't forget that one has to wait for AIs after finish up to one minute.

Also I'd like to now if I'm the only one with the problem, if so then its likely myself who is simply too slow.

I agree completely with Reh.
3 minutes just aren't enough in my opinion.You must rush things after the race like a robot which makes the whole thing more prone to mistakes(forgetting a file,screen etc.) Not to mention that files for the race are bigger and it takes more time to upload them.
I mean every penalty until now was measured in seconds (except FRUKIScze in the first round, and he admitted the offense and apologized), so personally I think that it's little bit harsh to penalize for such small amount of time.I think that the 5 minute window (like in majority of other compos) to send files would solve this problem.

I have this problem too, because I don't have Internet on my PC, but I have it on my smartphone. So I must log in to race, download track file(on my smartphone) then send it by USB cable to PC, (now I have 1 and 1/2 minute left), then I must unRar it by WinRAR, put it to the track folder, and race. When I finish race, I make a .zip file by Comp_Zipper, but then, I must unzip it by WinRAR, and make a .Rar file(because is much smaller and I can't send .Zip, cause my slow Internet on my smartphone), send it back to smartphone, and in smartphone I send it by an email. I must be very fast, or I will be penalised(look at my last penalise in Qualification) and when I'm so fast, I'm making fails(for example my last race -> 8km instead 10km) So you aren't only one Reh.

Hmm... I understand some problems with the Login. But what could I say? It's my first login competition and I decided to give you 3 minutes for log in, download the track etc. I started in some compos (mainly in GRPL) when I had for login race time + 2 minutes so I though that 3 minutes + race time could be enough. I'll think about increasing the login time for the next rounds (>5 minutes + race time?).

I'm sorry for your problems. I didn't want to make difficult competition, I wanted to make a compo for fun, with Login. But it's not my fault that I used to be very fast in sending files. This season is my own test with making a compo with Login. I hope that you don't mind if I increase the Login time.

You certainly don't need to resign, it's your first try at a login compo. It'll get easier with time. I think race time +5 minutes is fair, that's what I use in my V8SC compo and it works fine.

There's really no need for such impulsive decision.As far as I can see you didn't do anything wrong, nay you just obeyed the rules and everyone was punished accordingly to them.
I really hope that this championship will continue as planned.We are all here just having fun and it would be pity that something like that gets in the way.After all the purpose of this forum is to communicate to each other and give suggestions and advices to make things better.
We have to remember that the only reason we are competing in this compo is because of Gzehoo's good will and free time and we have to respect that.

OK. There are results from 3rd round, Spanish GP.
And the winner of 3rd race in this season is Reh no, Alonso no, XYY... wait... Kuba

Yes! It's Kuba's first win in Grand Tour Trophy. And it's first season when after three races we have three random winners. And for title defender, Reh, it's first race out of podium from... UAE GP 2011! Reh was 17 times in row on a podium in GTT and today he's not in TOP3 second time in all GTT history!
