I like the atmosphere. The tracks (along with the palette), the different engine sounds. Driving this series feels great. I am especially looking forward to the fifth track.
Also, it is funny to drive against someone I met one month ago. I talked to John Surtees in Monza.
I agree, what a nice change next to all the Sakhirs, Shanghais and so one repetitively used all over again. Only detail, possibly the races would be slightly more authentic with settings not requiring pit stops. But it's marginality. :)

BTW My race was OK, no crash, no rax exhibitions in a sand trap and no troubles with AIs. :)

Just submitted my race (with previous permission of puttz), and although I could have been quicker in some fast laps, but my average pace was OK, let's see, how rusty I was here this time! :D

Okay, login is now for round 2! Hopefully I will have the results posted by tomorrow night sometime (EST), so those of you in Europe probably won't see them until Tuesday. A very well attended round, 16 drivers submitted files. I think this is one of the highest attendances in NAGRCA history, it certainly has the largest amount of signups ever.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Exciting, close finish in the opening race of the Grand Prix Legends season. Usual suspects fill the podium. Full finishing order and replays are available at the link. There is a top 6 replay, as well as replays of all of the individual drivers. Standings do not show directly on the page, so those of you who wish to watch replays before viewing results are safe. Standings are also updated. Can't wait for round two. :goodvibes:

Why don't you make more merged replays? Also why don't you write fastest laps in results? It is just a few clicks...
Well I guess I was really the slowest :D.

wow! 6th isn't really bad at all for me...
I thought I would be in latter places since I made a lot of mistakes. I'm happy about this round, really above expectations.

Just made my login for round 2. Since the 1st round went so well for me after approx. 9 months of no racing, decided to login with as little training as the last time - one practice race with 95% of the distance and a handful of practice starts. :D

I'm glad with my results, didn't expect really that I'll be that competitive here. ^^

Indeed, Ivo, we tend to have the same tempo. I wonder if there's a kind of telepathy between us... :goodvibes:

Hopefully this was as good as I think it was. :)

I've lost a lot of consistency but heh, that's quite normal. Anyway, it was fun :cool2:

Good luck !

I did my race now :). It was slightly faster than my best practice run so it is great improvement in speed compared to horrible South African Grand Prix.
I hope I'll be higher than last time :D.

Results time! Once again, a very close race. The top 7 were separated by a mere 6 seconds! This time, I have merged replays for all positions in the zip. Head over to the series site to check out the standings and results.

Just for interest, shouldn't my average finish be 6th? I just made one race (and wasn't signed up for the first race) :D
edit: ok I just read the last sentence in the last chart of the standings :shhh:

Anyway, congrats to the guys on the podium! Apparently I still have to improve my driving if I want to score more points ;)
