I had a leaked Doom3 copy once, played it even before it came out.
Someone I know worked at the Frankfurt Airport, confiscated it.

For BF-1942, you should certainly try this: Forgotten Hope.
For BF2, you should try: Forgotten hope 2, Hard Justice, Project Reality, and Operation Peacekeeper, these mods really change the game, it's a totally different playing-experience!

I had that one as a Wallpaper for a long time (very long, for a smoker! ).
